There’s a new exploit me and my mate found, with the new update regarding the Loki staff. Winter normally being troublesome in terms of coin income, the Loki staff makes it trivial, if not more profitable than summer. You can use the staff to turn into the boar like how you would normally. But a kink is that if your units kill you as the boar you DROP THE SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY AS THE BOAR IF IT WAS NORMALLY KILLED. This makes it so that you can keep transforming into a boar and obtain huge sums of money without any risk. Just be careful not to transform in your base as you’d normally transform into a nearby archer or something. Also your Loki transformations reset each island, so this exploit can mainly be use during winter. Hope this helps :D
Thanks, found out about this a little while ago, very cool use of the staff, got some footage of it and I'll add it to an updated video when I get the chance
The horn is extremely op in the first 3 islands for coins. Since the merchant can use it, you can get 4-5 payouts from him in just 1 day. After that its only useful to skip the small portals when u wanna bomb the cave.
A tip here, the skull is a lot useful than you may think, more so in mid game, meaning they carry over any archer and warrior stones you've activated and be much better at combat, if you've carried over to the next island you basicly have have elites on your side and yes it can easily destroy portals.
very useful video, but i've noticed in my playthrough of KIngdom Norse Lands on version 1.1.14 that i can use the staff to transform to any type of greed (greedling - breeder - crusher - floater - crown stealer) as i transform to breeder, i can use the punch and spawn greedlings (not frequently but possible) and for floater, i could fly down to pick up villagers and as a crown stealer, i can jump sprint rapidly and jump very high all over the wall and avoiding all arrows from the army (not if there's too many) and i think the skull that summons the undead can be useful to destroy the living portal (AKA dock portal) to build the lighthouse straight away without clearing all the mini portals on the way, though i never tested it myself but i hypothesis that when you return to that island, your troops will go past those mini portals without hurting them but the hermits are slow, so i think they'll get kidnapped by the greed when night comes so...yeah.. i don't know if the features of copying greed has changed in the next updates but i thought i'd share my experience
that's some great information, thanks for sharing. Hadn't played enough Norse Lands to come across floaters and crown stealers with the Loki staff, so it's cool to hear those interactions. I've wondered about destroying the dock portal, but like you say, I'm not certain what would happen when landing back at the lighthouse, if your troops would attack the mini portals or not. I think it would end up doing more harm than good, but would be interesting to see.
@@possplays it's actually possible for floaters to spawn, it just takes more days, like how Crown Stealers take too long to spawn in the European DLC , i think the same mechanic applies to floaters in Norse Lands DLC
that'd be interesting. Being a berserker could be cool, and maybe you could turn into a farmer to speed up their harvesting/quickly harvest berry bushes in winter
@@possplays As I said in another video, you can use Loki's staff to turn into the Boar, get yourself killed for bank, and repeat this process multiple times if you need some quick coin!

Dude your voice is so soothing it melts my brain

good points, I found some of the others more useful, but never really gave the skull a chance in the late game
Thanks for making this video it really helps with my run ❤️

Thanks for the guide.
the damn trumpet sound every time inputting coins nearly drove me nuts...
Lokis staff should now allow you to turn into your Subjects and use their tools for example the bow
that'd be interesting. Being a berserker could be cool, and maybe you could turn into a farmer to speed up their harvesting/quickly harvest berry bushes in winter
@@possplays you can
Haven't played since the update, gonna have to check that out. May even delete this video and upload an updated one once I've got footage for that
