Thanks for Watching.
Waiting on my FAC and have bought one of these in 3.5inch chamber. Felt great on the hand, looked good, lightweight, easy lto operate and will cover most shooting activities (even if the toffs will give me funny looks, it'll still knock a pigeon of its perch I bet)...
Super X 3's are great ones. You're right.
I have had one for 2 years now always shoots well with 24 g Carts no issues but as you say the stock is a little short and I have a Bear Tooth Comb Riser on mine as the height wont adjust enough and its front heavy mine being a 28" will try sticking 5 oz of lead in the rear see if it helps but I do like the Red colour and yes it is liable to mark but I enjoy the gun its a rapid firing system!!!
Funny enough I am considering this the last few days- and there you go and upload a great vid on it. Thanks as always- great vid!
Great value second hand, or were you thinking new?
The Gun Shop I got it second hand (section 2).
Main use will be practical shotgun so will later be extending it. But in the mean time will also use it for clays.
Most semi-autos have a slightly shorter length of pull than an O/U although you get a couple of spacers in the box and you can pop a gel pad in your skeet vest. I have a 28" SX3 red and i can't fault it (same o/l as my 32" CG). I've had Remmies, Brownings, Franchis, Berettas, Benellis and even a Hatsan! In my opinion the SX3 is the best one at the price point. Is the SX4 an upgrade? I very much doubt it.
Excellent review as always I've just picked a sx3 black shadow up for wildfowling and pigeon shooting 26inch barrel so hopefully won't be to front heavy if it is ill put some weight in the back these on the used market represent real value for money
Beautiful weapon .
Could you please do a review on the Browning Citori 725 sporting.
Auto 5 review please!
Yeah, Auto 5 review would be nice to see.
working on it comrade
I have had one for over a year now and totally agree that the balance is not suited for clays which I shoot and will take your advise re the weight in the stock and see how it performs cycles 21 Grams Steel just fine;-)
I have an SX3 with a wood stock, and it is perfectly balanced. Just thought I would add that for someone that is watching this.
My uncle has a 1500 trx winchester 12 shoot well can't wait to try the x 3
Do you know where I can pick up one of the red SX4, Cannot seem to find any out here In N.C. Sure would like to purchase one.
To my knowledge Winchester don't do the SX4 in red.
What I meant to say was SX3 Not 4> Still would like to purchase one< any information you can share would be greatly appreciated . Thank you
Do a Benelli Super sport review!
I think the future of Sporting Clays is the semi-auto. I just wish someone would make a semi-auto that had the looks and quality of a high-end O/U. I don't want a plastic gun or a bright red gun. I want a nice classic looking shotgun, that is a semi-auto.
Benelli are doing a nice job of that with some of their fancier models.
X2 for the citori, thanks!
I'm in the process of getting my shotgun certificate and will soon be looking to purchase my first gun. I'd really like a semi automatic as i just prefer the action and very familiar with how one operates. What would be a good choice in your opinion to go with? My budget is around the £1000 mark. Also are semi autos welcome at clay shooting grounds??
Most clay grounds wont have a problem with a semi auto!
Is it for a pure clay gun?
The Gun Shop will be mainly for clay shooting but some game and pest control also.
Save up a little longer and buy a Benelli. Don't buy this thing I had the bolt pending flakes of aluminium off the back of the receiver which dropped down into the trigger mechanism. Awful gun.
Robert Marshall which Benelli?
How does the SX3 compare with the Beretta A400 Black.
Any major difference with the Super SX3?
SXP next please lads :P
please rewiew new sx4
Working on it
@@tgsoutdoors Fantastic, do you have an ETA for the review/talk/comparison? I'm torn between the two models and heard some bad rep about the SX4 :/
Does the gas need topped up
The bull Mc cabe daily
How does one go a sort out on how to have a shot gun licence it’s my first time at applying for Gun license
I like to spend about £2,500/600 on a second hand semi, I like the way you explain every detail on the Shot gun video you make the reviews on the guns very honestly,
What would be the best for Semi for a biginner
How would you rate it against m2, maxus and a400?
M2 is more reliable, maxus is very similar and the A400 is now faster cycling, but a larger gun in the hand
@@tgsoutdoors Thanks for your prompt response.
Hi!
I own a SX3 Big Game Combo Set and noticed, that my shell lifter scrubs a bit along the bolt stop lever when pushed manually upwards. The lifter sits firm and centered with no wiggle.
Did anyone experience a similar "flaw"? It runs perfectly fine though, just touches the inner workings of the bolt stop.
I'd appreciate some opinion on this!
Thanks!
Well done.... Winchester SX3 is on the cheap built side....you get what you pay for IMO
True
2 words auto 5
2 words: hefty recoil
@@Warptenlololol no a properly setup up and maintained auto 5 is softer shooting than any gas operated shotgun on the market now taking your grandads out after it hasn't seen proper maintenance for a decade for a day of clays that'll cause hefty recoil a good for instance is my 3 in magnum A5 the lightest load it'll cycle on the light setting is 1 1/4 oz 1400 fps which is what I shoot in it for skeet it is softer shooting than any of my other 12 gauges with the same load and even some of my pump 20 gauges when I let people shoot it they often think its loaded with 1 oz trap loads which it can't even cycle I've got a 20 ga that honestly has less felt recoil than my OU 410
@@Warptenlololol honestly theres 2 reason why people thing they're heavy recoiling
first the frictions rings are setup up wrong
Second worn out recoil springs(they will take up a set in the gun and should be removed when not in use)
@@bosstube9046 1 1/4 oz should just about manage to break a skeet target at 20 yards ok.🙂
Nice gun but gas system very dirty no thank you, I love my inertia Stoeger m3000 in walnut stock
A good copy of the benelli M2
What about the stoger m 3500
Your camera needs to focus on the Gun, not you!
