3:03 The portrait is of Catherine of Aragon. Not sure why it’s miss labelled as Mary Tudor queen of France. Catherine of Aragon was Henry 8th’s first wife.
I understand your confusion. This portrait of a noblewoman, maybe Mary Tudor c. 1514 or Catherine of Aragon c. 1502, by Michael Sittow. It was labeled as Mary Tudor at the exhibition and on the Met website (www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/752756?&exhibitionId=0&oid=752756&pkgids=791) because the Kunsthistorisches Museum lent it for the show and on their website museum states that this is Mary Rose Tudor (www.khm.at/objektdb/detail/1788/).
@@ArtTripNYC I understand. Thank you for replying to me. I’ve only ever seen it in documentaries & biographies etc as Catherine of Aragon. I have never even seen it suggested that it was Mary Tudor queen of France. That’s why these exhibitions not only Display exceptionally beautiful art they are also a unique learning tool. Thank you😁

A pity that some musical instruments were too modern
