Dimash has been sick a few times... he still sings regardless... if you want to see an example watch his performance of Daybreak on "The Singer" in 2017. He lost his voice the day before, went to the doctor who gave him some medicine and told him "NO high notes". Medicine didn't work he showed up anyway and crushed it, all his friends (the other competitors) knew the story and the concern on their faces is evident throughout. After he finished he said it was like razer blades in his neck and couldn't speak for a week. One of Dimash's biggest concern is that he never let his family or his 'dears' down if you see enough of his performances or even better some of the interviews with him you will see who he is as a person. There is a reason that we dears all love Dimash so much and it isn't just his vocals or his performance. Love your reaction to one of my 100 Favourite songs of his. EDIT: I am not Canadian and only really "know" bands like BTO, Rush, Nickelback etc because they hit the airwaves in Australia... I DO know of Metric though but only because of Black Sheep which was a downright banger (looked them up after Scott Pilgrim) but haven't seen anything else... grabbed them on Spotify so will check them out...

It is an opera fusion that was written for him (and his abilities) and it is in English. It's a very popular song among his dears. As for suggestions based on what you've requested in the past, "Across Endless Dimensions" was studio recorded and has a music video. It also has an otherworldly vibe that you may appreciate. One of the other competitors even bought an expensive medicine for him. You could see the pain in his face just as he was about to sing, and he still killed it. The song was "Daybreak." I suggest that you go to Gloria Wu's channel for that song because she gives the backstory to the song. It was originally written and performed by Han Hong, and she called Dimash to thank him for singing it. It is a very sad and true song. I don't want to spoil it for you before you listen to it. Again thank you. This is one of my favorite songs by Diamsh. This song, as many of them do, has cc's for English translations. You must hear him sing Adagio.

I can't really quote it from memory, but I believe it was written about a Japanese woman born in China that was deported during the war so she had to leave behind friends, family and the only country she ever knew. Dimash spoke about this and how her life became consumed by these incidents and the heartbreak of knowing your life was changed so drastically by another's choices.
