The answer would probably be based on your morals: do the right thing legally, or be rid of the person who hurt you so deeply. I'm the type of person that if I get given too much change, or if they undercharge me, I'll tell the cashier. Use to drive my ex insane, but oh well, he turned out to be a lying cheating scumbag too, so I shouldn't be surprised that he was ok to lie about silly small things like that too.
I might have threatened to invalidate the divorce to negotiate a better settlement. That kind of criminality should at least cost him some $$$.

How is a spouse responsible for child support with a child that wasn't theirs? Where I live, the spouse has no obligation for support with a child that is Not theirs in any way.
The only way is if they helped raise the baby for a long time (several months to years, depending on state) and then there is a divorce and the blood parent makes less. Unless the CAUSE of the divorce is said child and then usually no.😂
I think it has something to do with who signs the babies birth certificate. It depends on the state, (location) but I think it's basically that the man is legally agreeing to be the babies guardian by signing. It could mean that he's required to by law pay child support for a child that is not his, because he signed the paperwork. It can be annulled in some places, I'm sure, but it's a long, time-consuming process. And if the man is unwilling to believe he's infertile, he might just sink into denial.

You have to go to court and a judge grants your petition for your divorce. You need ID too. No point in “turning” papers In without a JUDGE’S signature, and the clerk wouldn’t accept those papers anyway.
I went through a paralegal service. I didn't step foot into a court room.

This may sound weird, but I'm glad the husband isn't so obvious about cheating. Makes it more understandable how the wife didn't know for so long.
I really hope Eric's new wife's kid is taken away for the kid's safety. Eric got what he deserved but I want his new wife to get punished as well.
I want to imagine the kid is taken away for the kid's safety & the evidence shows that it's all the new wife's fault so she ends up in jail for child neglect. Eric visits her only once so he can yell at her that his life is ruined & it's her fault, that she is just as much a cheater as he is & that he regrets leaving his wife for her. She's then forced to sign divorce papers with no one listening to her arguments cause she already has made herself look insane & both already are terrible so no one wants to deal with them any more than they need to.
In the end the new wife lost everything she wanted & Eric moves away to be miserable alone elsewhere(so his now second ex-wife can't find him when she gets out plus everyone hates both of them) since he has nothing left. The child he no longer wants is gone(for good reasons), the wife he once thought was amazing turns out to be insane & willing to cheat to get with her as well as harass his ex when she was still his wife. To top it all off he'll never get his first wife back thanks to his actions, if only he had treated her better, actually listened to her & didn't cheat with that nutcase he could have had a child that shared blood with him.
There's a chance to still try but he knows it's no use as it'd be tricky to find someone that'd be willing with his issues & he has money issues due to the divorce & moving away so no way to be financially stable enough for marriage let alone a relationship.

Havent finished watching the video and i can assume the hanged-up calls are coming from the husband's girlfriend which is why our heroine is worried. However, i must get at least 5 calls every day where the phone hangs up. These are telemarketers and scammers who use an auto-dial system that calls your you but because the person in the call center isn't ready for you, the call is dropped.
I think these people in these videos forget that having kids isn’t the meaning of life, I’ve seen many people who can and can’t have kids do other things in life as well, The meaning of life is to enjoy it and have a decent job to keep the happiness going

AfterStory: Eric did try to go the his ex wife house but the new husband took a lead pipe and hit him in the head and called the police. Eric was stretched away and sent to a hospital. He was under police custody but was off the hook as it was his first offense. Unfortunately he was fried from his job. Knowing that he cannot go back to his wife after that traumatic experience, he decided to give up but his mistress ended up suing him for child support. He lost the case despite the face the baby was not his and the mistress was able to manipulate the judge. He ended up working at a local white castle in order to pay his debt. While he was working in white castle he met with Harold and Kumar and tried to pick a fight with them but he lost and was knocked out but had no choice but to stay there with a lot of cold glare. He was screwed.

If anyone has questions of their spouse why should be sorry, it crazy in these tapes that ppl apologize so fast, first if their is that much distrust in a relationship then in MY new there is a problem within the relationship. A person can ask questions without making a partner feel like they r being attacked, they should be able to talk about anything, and those callers should have been handled by the both of them and if it is a scam caller them it should be reported to the phone company. I was married for over 39 yrs before he passed and at the beginning of the relationship we both decided that if either one of us had any thoughts of starting a new relationship we both made each other a promise, that we would sit down and finish the relationship that we are in. Respect is the key and honestly I can say that not once did I ever think that there was a time I thought he was going out to meet or cheat on me, we had 39 plus yrs and 5 kids together and the only reason that he was sick was bc of COVID-19.
