Thanks for the video, friend. I just picked up an '07 King Quad 700 for cheap that needs a rebuild, and I'm gonna go with this kit for my piston, rings, and gaskets.
I still have not had any issues after rebuild. Still running great. Good luck on your project!
thank you. this was the exact piston kit i was looking at for my king quad 700, as well. good to know its good to go.
I'm glad the video helped. Good luck!
Thats pretty cool how they had it all packaged up in the small container. not a bad price either.
Yeah I thought so too. Thanks for stopping by!
Quick shipping and they packaged it up great, can't go wrong there.
I thought the packaging was pretty cool in that small container. Thanks for stopping by!
Maybe it’s me but I can’t see any markings on my compression ring just a lip on the O.D which way is up? Please help me out
Great question. The ring with the lip is the 1st or the top ring. The lip faces up. The second ring in the lower grove should be flat with out a lip. Hope that helps!
Ps How did the piston hold up for you .....this is my first Namura
It has been holding up great. Still using the quad to this day with the same piston. We don't run it hard, just around our property as a work horse.
Wow that was packaged very nice.
Yeah it was packaged very nice. Thanks for stopping by Jerry!
What is the model num of this piston kit? The one I bought is 189.1 however is seems tight in the cylinder. Really hard to move.
I don't remember the model number I bought. The piston shouldn't be that tight. It will be tight with the rings installed but with out the rings the piston should move freely in the cylinder.
Let the fun begin!! That company is a japanese name (Nem OOrah). Great video, keep it up!
Thanks, and thanks for the clarification on the company name. I knew I butchered it. lol
Is it still running? A lot of 2 stroke people trash Namura pistons.
Still running and still using almost every day around the house. No problems at all. I don't have experience with this piston in a two stroke though so I can't speak to that. I know a lot of people trash this brand but I have had good luck with it.
@@UpperPeninsulaDIY Thanks for the update. Do ever ride it hard?
Every once in a while the kids will take it out muddin but not very often. Mainly just pulling trees, hauling a trailer loaded with dirt, just a work horse for us around the house.
Why the new piston? Did you blow a jug?
Both the jug and piston had a lot of wear and grooves from dirt getting past the air filter. Thanks for stopping by!
Seen it's been a little bit so how did your namura piston kit hold up?
So far no issues at all.
Howuch was this kit with the jug?
Please tell me if Namura is a good product for yz250f...?
@@imayungboss17 It's been 2 years now and have not had any issues.
