As an accounting nerd I dropped it into a spreadsheet. By my count I lost to Mike by 40 and Chris by 24.5. Koufax is a run I am missing a lot - but fun to play along. Thanks as always for sharing.
Cool idea. It'd be easier for us to play along and compare scores if you scored 5 pts for having the card then added the amount of points that the card is graded. For example a 6 is worth 6 pts, a 4 is worth 4 pts etc. I think a higher grade in the rc should be worth a lot more points
Great show guys! Next level… make it a tournament with a field of 20 or 30 guys. Random match ups with random runs for each match. That would be super fun
This was an interesting concept. I think my favorite Koufax cards, based solely on looks, are the 1961 and 1963 (my #1 favorite). Mike, I just did a Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig showcase video with a few surprise items you might not have seen before (since you're a Gehrig fan). - Take care!
Great idea. I have a complete run of Koufax paper and some graded (PSA 6 Rookie, and a few other graded cards). in I guess the 1964 Topps Giants was not part of the challenge but you both probably have it. I think your viewers would have liked to see it. Also I have a 1961 Bell Brand Koufax and a neat 1963 LIfe magazine. Thanks to both of you for sharing.
"There will be blood!" This was a great idea! You guys are going to have a great time and we will have a great time watching you! BTW, I have all the base cards but, alas, they are all ungraded.
Love the concept guys it’s a blast to see some fantastic cards. Think my score would have been around 30. Lots of fun looking forward to seeing the future videos!
I have 2 complete sets of ‘64 giants and both of the Koufax look great. How do the Giants grade? I don’t see too many graded. I imagine it cost more right?
You should just add the grade to both totals and not just credit the difference. This way for those playing at home can total up their points without trying to figure out whether they would be deducting points from your total because they have a higher grade. It would also be cool to get a one point credit for non base cards, like the 64 Koufax and 63 Lefties you showed as well as league leader cards. Great concept and show.
Woah I have a higher grade 58 than you guys! Just got a 4 back from SGC.... that amazes me as I see myself as this meager collector, and really look up to your collections. Woohoo!
Great show. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it

I have a feeling Chris is buying cards this weekend!!! Great show guys, love it!
He can try, but I think that I got him.
Great idea and fun showing cards. Really enjoyed the show. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much 😊

Awesome show!!! So much fun!!!
Thanks. We had fun doing it.
Fun battle, guys. Great collections.
Thank you 🤗

That would definitely be fun. Lots of work though

I actually do not have the 64 Giants Koufax.
Loved this! Great idea and a great way to showcase your collection.
Thanks so much! 😊
Hi Guy. Great concept, it was very entertainment. Congrats Mike, and congrats Chris for having the whole run.
Thanks. It was fun
Congrats to both of you on your Koufax collections. That was fun to watch and looking forward to the Yaz showdown.
Thanks so much!
This is such a fun series idea!
Thanks Mike. Just trying to keep you entertained. LOL
"There will be blood!" This was a great idea! You guys are going to have a great time and we will have a great time watching you! BTW, I have all the base cards but, alas, they are all ungraded.
Thanks Rick. Luckily no blood was drawn during the making of this video
Awesome first episode. You guys brought the heat like Sandy
Thanks Josh.
That was fun! I sure people have a more complete Yaz collection than mine, but I have some good ones (although a couple are raw).
Get them out and play along with us next time.
Always need more Sandy in the PC. I bid feverishly but don’t win much. Great episode.
His cards are not cheap.
Great idea! Would love to see Willie Mays. I've got 100% of the basic set but it's all low to mid grade
I am sure we will get to Mays at some point.
Really cool concept for a show! Looking forward to seeing more.
Awesome, thank you!
Wonderful idea.
Thank you! 😊
Loved this new show .
Can’t wait to see the other matches .
They are coming. Stay tuned.
Fun series idea Mike! Congrats on the win! Looking forward to the next episode
More to come!
A very fun idea! You both have amazing Koufax runs. Looking forward to the Yaz episode.
Thanks JP.
Love the concept. My only complaint is it’s all graded. I have the complete Koufax run, but the rookie isn’t graded. Would only grade a 1.
How else are we supposed to determine a winner unless we use the grade differences?
Add Gil Hodges to that list. Great video!
Good call!
This is freaking great !! Chris has to be the funniest guy in the hobby. I got my paper ready to compete with you both 👊👊
How did you do Dylan?
@@BaseballCollector i sucked missing 2 cards and I sold all my PSA 7’s last year for lower grades 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love the concept guys it’s a blast to see some fantastic cards. Think my score would have been around 30. Lots of fun looking forward to seeing the future videos!
Glad you enjoyed it
Fun show. Going up against Mike however is suicide. Chris, I’ll match my Rico Petrocelli player run against your Freddie Patek.
You would think that Chris would know better. Lol
64 Koufax strikes out 15 is a sneaky favorite of mine
It’s such a great looking picture
Cool concept, great cards guys
Thanks.
Great showdown, looking forward to the next episode. Let's get a commentor to throw down a challenge.
Good idea Doug. Are you volunteering??
@BaseballCollector Mike, I collect specific cards, sets, players; can't compete with you big dogs.
@@doug_sports_collector You could just be the commentator
I’ve also got the 1962 Topps in a PSA 4, but the color on yours is much better. I still get 5 points 😅.
Fun game! 👍
Nice 👍
It's really cool those are some great Koufax cards
Thanks. Appreciate it.
I imagine Junk Wax Hero could give your Yaz cards a run for their money!
I’ll be keeping score alongside them, but I’m missing some in PSA slabs in the ‘70s
Missed the 1964 Topps Giants Koufax
Good catch. I don't think either of us have that one.

@@doc4130 They actually grade pretty well actually

Good feedback. Thanks
I have a raw copy of the Koufax/Podres love that card my only Koufax
Definitely a cool card Jason.
By my calculations, both of you won for making such an entertaining video 😂🎉🎉🎉
Thank you 😁
really really fun idea keep up the amazing content your awesome 👏
Thank you! Will do!
How many bonus points for the cards being raw in a binder? Trying to calculate my score 🤪
Only 5
Booooooo 😉
Such a great idea snd fun first episode. Btw, have an idea for an intro, just let me know if interested & I can send an intro over to you.
Cool. My email is gonzaleznut @hotmail.com. No spaces.

That is awesome!
This was a great idea! And Man this was a fun video!!!
Glad you liked it!!
Until you read the names on the wheel I could have sworn I saw Josh Hamilton on there five or six times!
That would definitely be advantage Mike
Keep up the great videos 🎉
Thanks! Will do!
Nolan Ryan. It’ll be an hour show
No doubt
Love this idea guys!
Thanks Warren.
Nice! How much are they worth if they’re signed 🤨?
A heck of a lot more Chris.
Awesome
But Chris wins
Because he didn't freeze once
Mike you should loose a bunch of points just for you freezing all the time. Lol😊
I know. I need to figure that out for sure
I’ve also got the 1962 Topps in a PSA 4, but the color on yours is much better. I still get 5 points 😅.
