I bought a Challenger Pro 30cal, when it first came out, I'm ashamed to say, that I haven't even opened the box. Health & family has kept me extremely busy the last couple years. But I plan on shooting it this spring, I just bought an Airforce Texan 457 CF the other day & I'm really excited. I'm really interested in seeing the power of the new Challenger Pro lb 30cal, if the power numbers, are what some people are saying, 170lfpe with a 90gr I'm going to get one for sure.
Damn, the regulator is working way above average. That is very nice! IT's rare to see such a good STD-Dev on a.30 caliber because the larger diameter and surface imperfections are much more prevalent than that of a.22 calibers. I'm super impressed with that consistency. Hat's off to AEA for that Reg and Plentum doing its job punching way above its price point.
Whaaaaat a power hose .. 2 mags at full power big bore with such a small spread.. sorry to say this.. that is more power than what a evol 30 is making for half of the price in a awesome looking rig ..

I bother you for the following topic and acquired in PCP AEA Chalenger pro caliber .30 my question would be and I have seen your youtube videos which I congratulate you for sharing your experiences, here in Argentina the only pellet that is obtained for that caliber is the JSB Ii a national brand the AIR BOSS DE 49 GR. I have experiences with firearms and I reload ammunition, therefore I cast slug tips with a homemade mold which I traced to .302 with 77 gr. with a speed of 840 fps and the regulating valve at 140 bar I have seen that in a video you have carried out tests with a .303 slug of 70 gr. According to your experience, this profile would be the maximum .303 for this caliber. Thank you very much for your comment.
If Iwant one of these air rifles, and it cant be shipped to me because of restrictive laws here in Illinois, is there a state fairly close to chicago, (driving ) where I can pick my purchaseup?

I'd love to see the accuracy from 50 m out to over 100m ! I've seen videos on this gun doings the testing of fps an fpe with slugs and all the shots were going sonic and had be be turned down to go subsonic! But haven't seen that many on accuracy except one channel that was hitting tight groups at 168 yards!

The Aea challenger pro's are some of the best airguns for the $ an are able to compete against others that are triple the price! If by my saying "Tight groups " was over stated or felt to be an exaggeration I'd first have to know or understand what your version of tight groupings are and youd have to know mine. But seeing this platform hit an 8 inch gong in groups the sizes of a fist with jsb pellets at 164 yards is impressive because I have no doubts with the right slugs it would of done better!

this gun regulator setting about 2700-2800psi so the last two shot pressure down out this range.

Have a look at the 'handle' when he pulls the trigger. It almost disengages and pushes the handle out. Take a close look, you may be alarmed.
