Sometimes our desire to be satisfied (pleased, like/be pleasured by) is trumped by our need to be stimulated (challenged by?) what we're taking in. I'm sure that (like many of us) you're aware of always walking on that fence... raw "feels" on one side ...and our need for meditative/spiritual, analytical/intellectual growth on the other.
