You're good with Li Mei. You still memorize her combos. Keep it up, bro. She is one of my favorite 3D era character in an Era of the 3D MK. Now it does as you can tell from the amazing graphics and personalities in MKX. Many, including myself would love to have any of the underutilized characters back and revamped. Same reason people keep requesting Fujin or Havik or every 3D era character because they have cool basic ideas and moves that could easily be improved upon and make them into amazing characters. Literally the only reason I could think of why people would want her is because she made a cameo in MKX. I've always thought of her being re-imagined. Her style fighting with purple projectiles from her feet and spin kicks and she's a female martial artist who doesn't rely on magic or weapons nearly as much as many characters do. I'd love it. Her being a "good" character from Outworld already sets her apart from the majority of MK's protagonists. Her history suggests that she wants to do the right thing and work with people from Earthrealm and stuff, but she'll always put her own people first, which creates interesting conflict.
She should return Mk12, was disappointed when she was instantly confirmed to be a NPC for MkX before it was, released. I noticed they used the similar Dragon King armer Soldier, concept for Sindel & even Mileena to a degree in Mk11 that she had in Mk Deception.
....Li Mei has an infinite in this game. Lol You have to time it right, though. I forgot the name of the special move that starts it, but you have to be in her Lui He Ba Fa stance for it to work.
I think I got it. So you do her forward Kartwheel Kick (special move) while you're in her second stance and press 2 (whatever that button would be on your controller) right after. If you get the timing right, it's an infinite. The damage scales like crazy after a bit, though.
Netherrealm should bring her back she hasn't been given enough screen time and story. I like her alternative costume in deadly alliance where she is in her shorts
I do hope that one day, Li Mei and her people can have freedom. If not Bo Rai Cho or Shujinko, perhaps there can really better heroes to save her and them. Frankly, if Liu Kang was still alive, he would free them for sure.
Yo Li Mei is my favorite female alongside Sareena. I love Li Mei and the costume I like is her Deception which she wears underwear, bra, and long boots not her full armor.
