Two well trained pilots I know (one who flew in a war with Afghanistan ) said: "Yeah, nah. Planes don't break into that many pieces. Perhaps 4 or 5 at most.... and the odds of debris hitting you are less than 1 in 250,000". So. Yeah, there's that.
@@SecretIngredientK Yes, possible. She ejected while the plane kept going for a bit.... It's very unrealistic that the plane circled back around to above where she was falling. So even if the plane was going to give the pilot about 10 - 20 seconds before destructing.... it's very unlikely that the pilot would swing back into an area where the debris would continue to fall on them. Why didn't 'Kara' get ejected to slight-left of all that? Why not get ejected slight-right *plus* slightly behind? It's a movie. That's all I can say. As for what my friend said (who's been in a similar situation) - it doesn't happen like this. He said it would be like dropping an empty wine glass and having all those fragments come right back up towards your face.
Well its Hollywood they can make a tomato explode n make it look believable , I drove trucks for years n everytime these truck movies come out I fell the same way
Over a minute to achieve terminal velocity? Nah. She'd have reached that within about the first ten seconds. For all this movie's spectacular action - and that is impressive - it's weighed down by a typically dumb script.
well a minute for us, but for the movie perspective things are happening at the same time on both her view and the control room, so half that minute is camera panning on the control room as well. so probably it was 10 seconds but not for us the viewers
Nope, you know, that plane will go into her bill, she need everything recorded to defend herself in court. As a pilot you cant lose your plane, you lose it and you can say your career bye bye.
Not really you need to keep confirming status, if command hears nothing they’ll assume your KIA and nothing will help. Even though that type of break up is not known nether is a break up at 35,000 so everything she done was right
I'm guessing so, it makes the movie more exciting, but according to my friend who's been in a similar situation - it doesn't happen like this. He said it would be like dropping an empty wine glass and having all those fragments come right back up towards your face.
U know that navy officer got painted as the Bad guy.. But he had a lot of Rough Circumstances lol a Rouge EDI, a punch-out over Korea. and 2 planes heading to Russia to start WW3 lol easy to say.. He wasn't having a good day
Heck its a movie, irl pilots are cool headed and straigth to the mission, they dont ask questions as "how the chick? is she ok?" and control dosent need to answer to that. Mission always come first, thats what they trained for. Its like those apocalyptic movies from the 60-70s where a plane had to drop a nuclear bomb on russia.... they dont go all sentimental, they are given an order and they follow it thru without questioning, you dont put pilots on those extremely top classified missions (and in this case top secret planes) if they arent suited mentally to carry their duties.

I think she activated some sort of self-destruct mechanism with that master arm key so that the technology would not fall into foreign hands.

yeah.. and after ejecting the chute desploys automatically... lol they dont relly on the push of a button..

That's a pretty simple ejection sequence, especially with tiny buttons , flat spinning at max g's of human limit 😊
“Where the hell is that?” “North korea.”🤣
😂😂

@ravell2854 interesting perspective, thanks.
You got to admit the visual simulation films 20 years ago are 10 times better than present.
Quality vs now its all about quantity to keep the masses consuming. AI generation will only make the slop worse.
Can she just shut up lmao 😂
Naa. You need to confirm all your status. It’s recorded in to the system to examine about the situation later.

0:36 Kara: my position 38 54 45 North 127 31 22 East
Captain Cummings: where the hell is that
0:48 US Navy Officer: North Korea
Prime example of non sensical Hollywoodish script , destroying a visually spectacular scene
Were those plane fragments chasing her on her way down?

She's awake! :D

Her nonsensical talking is causing offense🤪
Why are there so many actions for ejection sequence?
So you don’t eject on accident
Intence?
She is so hot regardless ❤ !!!!!
When you eject as a pilot your eyes will hemorrhage
Yep that's the pentagon
we even have micro weather :D
For someone fallen and in danger she talks too much😂😂😂
😂😂😂😅
she has to, she will be court martialed for losing her plane, she need everything recorded to the last detail to defend herself.
combo..
bro new plastic aquaplanning
My wheels just melted and went off
its ok i wasntgoing fast
Intense but not very realistic. That's not how it happens....
eject yourself into the vector of the plane`s debris... that dumb you have to be..
