    Thank you for your enthusiasm 😊 I’m really thinking I should try it this year. We’ve struggled with American history curriculum, my soon to be 6th grader has not done a full year of American history yet and I’ve been mulling over America’s story 1-3 or Abeka’s grade 4 new edition since it covers one full year. I think Notgrass is too much money and too much info. You mentioned you did more than 2 in a year. It’s what I was thinking too..if it was doable to do it this way.

    I love the note-booking idea, do you think the teacher’s book is truly needed if we’d just like to listen to mp3 and notebook?

      @@merabvargas7977 If you plan to do it that way, then you definitely don’t need the teacher’s book. I think your family will really enjoy the notebooking process and remember all the fun and important things from history doing it that way!

    How necessary is the teacher guide if we're actively narrating/notebooking. Do I really need it?

    Thanks so much for sharing! Would you say that the history is written in living book style or in dry textbook fact style?

      I would definitely say living book style! There were many times when we felt as if we were in the story of history. The author did a great job of providing excerpts like “imagine we there, riding on the train…” etc. Hope this helps! 🙂

      Hey there! Here is a direct link to the MP3s. (If the link doesn’t work for you just go to Master Books site and search “America Story MP3” in the search bar and it should pop up.) Hope this helps!

    Do you think this is ok for a middle schooler? Vs the American History one from MB?

      @KatieHedrick  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, I really do! I used it with my middle schooler this past year with great success. Hope this helps! 😊

    We loved the MB Americas story. Love the rap video idea. So cute. Great video. Just subscribed. I also have a channel and would love to be friends and connect here. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
