I think Mercy needs a healing buff just like a mini Ana grenade healing buff or just increase the flat healing of Mercy's healing beam. It feels so bad to play Mercy right now.

I am not even a Mercy main, but the fact that they refuse to tweak individual heroes post DPS passive change is wild because some Heroes benefit WAY more than others and others suffer more than intended.

The dps passive as a concept is fine, however it should be 15% like before and should only be applies after a set amount of damage from one dps (say, like 50 damage), so you don't have to just shoot blindly and apply it like nothing
@@FrankieFan2005 Not really the dps damage was fine and now that it easier to aim with the projectiles increase it even better now. That alone nerf healing as dps output is now easier and more consistent. But now on top of that we have the dps passive (which I don’t mind but some supports healing numbers are already to low to compete against the projectiles being increased) so now healing is even worst now on top of it taking longer to heal people to full due to the increase hp pools. I think the dps passive is cool but I feel like they didn’t tune the healing numbers properly to match the new changes that started at season 9.

They have got to chill with the mercy nerfs. I get it, half the player base has too much skill issue to kill us, but that doesn’t mean our character should be almost unplayable. Hopefully mercy gets at least a small healing or ga buff in the mid season patch. Wonderful video by the way, always love seeing them.
I feel like they just need to add overhealth to her healing beam instead of keeping a majority of her power in damage boost, all the other supports from old Overwatch aside from baptiste, ana and moira cant really compete with the new ones being added
I thought 15% reduction was the sweet spot for the dps passive, like, it felt impactful but back to 20... My best guess is that they are trying to nerf supports like kiri and bap without realizing they are hurting others that are already fighting to stay relevant like lifeweaver and mercy 😩
Easily. She has had moments where she wasn’t meta which was fine, but she is such a throw pick rn it is INSANE. Literally any other support, even Lifeweaver is better

The passive regen changes mean that tanks will regen more health than Mercy heals. This bewilders me. What more will need to happen for them to realize her healing needs a buff
The only gm mercys right now are maintaining their rank at low gm or duoing with very good gm dps. Even Eley is stuck in master (Master is t500 right now at the beginning of the season). I need them to give mercy a buff and make her less team dependent tbh.
I love playing mercy so much, she is the most chill character and it brings me joy to play her, however it has been very hard to do so, especially if you don't have a dps that's popping off like crazy. I remember climbing with her with no issue and now it's just such a struggle.

it's honestly crazy how they keep finding ways to make her worse every season. like atp they already removed everything remotely difficult/nuanced from her movement (apart from weapon swap tech) so now they just keep making her numbers worse because there's nothing else to take from her
When I play mercy I get a lot of healing and a lot of assists but my teams usually lose. probably 55% of the time. I am not a super duper good player, but I get higher wins with other heroes. She is fun to play, but can't really save other teammates when they're getting focused.
@@makipowy I do it quite a bit. I try to amplify whoever is shooting or dealing dmg, but generally my team is always dying so I have to keep them at least above half health otherwise they get melted.
Mercy main job is to damage boost if your not getting 60% damage boost usage and 40% healing beam usage your playing her wrong. She’s an off healer so your main healer is taking care of the tank.

I have 4 dudes with the red plus sign and my other support gets picked im not gonna just dmg boost lul. obviously dmg boost when possible. Every support has a function to heal. The games where my teammates get picks and actually deal dmg my percentage is higher.

As long as you’re getting at least 2.5k damage amplified per 10 minutes, you’re doing fine. Holding blue beam on people who aren’t making use of it isn’t productive

I want so much an Ana buff too. She is my main, but RN I feel I can't either kill people or heal my team enough. It takes so many shots to fill someone lifebar, and nade is not as powerfull as before. The least they could give her is a nade buff...
I one tricked mercy until I learned Ana. I'm definitely most comfortable on Ana/mercy and they're both not great right now so I'm struggling 😭 I even learned Illari and they nerfed her fire rate even though I wouldn't say she was broken at all season 9. Blizzard has it out for me lol

In playing other supports I understand the frustration of having a mercy on the team too because it usually forces you to heal more or be more aggressive. Thinking about the mirrorwatch event and realized how fun it is to actually use "res" without getting too close to it. Another thing for mercy to do. I was thinking if it is possible to have 2 possible uses for the souls (res or transform into a healing beacon/life weaver healing blossom)
I feel like it wouldn't be overpowered if part of Mercy's "Sympathetic Healing" passive was that she just straight up ignored the DPS passive. People were still easily able to kill things on Mercy's team even before the DPS passive was changed, and now they can hit shots much easier. Not sure if this is a good suggestion or not, but our girl needs some help... She has the 2nd lowest win rate of all of the Supports right now, only above Lifeweaver, who is also hit very hard by the DPS passive (Poor guy).
They need to add back triage healing and buff damage boost to its previous numbers. Then nerf dps passive back to 15%. 20% just encourages more immortality abilities which isn’t fun
I’m just gonna say it, mercy is useless now. Her movement got nerfed, her damage boost, AND her healing. Only thing they gave her these past few MONTHS is keeping her beam connected while she ults but with this change, that doesn’t matter now. She can no longer support a team.

Here's an idea that'll probably never happen. To make mercy's single target healing more viable again: instead of a flat heal number why don't they change it to a percentage (would have a maximum otherwise healing tanks would be op).
Idk about her in particular, but most mercy mains bind crouch to one of the mouse thumb buttons for better access! Hope this helps :D (Also its a beginner trick to swap heal and dmg boost buttons. However its probably 50/50 on who does and doesnt do this.)

@@TBT707 Superjump is made into an effect that is easier for all players with the gauge when flying with Guardian Angel, and it will be a big boost of vertical height if you hit it the more charge it gets. However, old superjump is still possible and has its uses, but will extend the GA Cooldown by a tiny tiny bit for the option of more horizontal movement iirc.
its easy to do now so all that work we did back then to learn it is not useful anymore lol but new movement ability if u move your camera up after u GA then u will also fly to high ground areas faster
dont buff her healing. give her double rez back. make rez cooldown refresh and cast 50% faster when she valks. make valk take as long as a nano to build. that will give her some actually super fun play making ability that encourages more strategy than just hold LMB or RMB and pray

im so sad they reverted it :( its too oppressive at 20%, and it was still noticeable at 15%, so why feel the need to change??
i mean in high ranks u can damage boost great. but in low ranks why u cant damage boost they dont hit. so u need to heal.
