      Well I have a question. I just tried to ungroup the circle font that I have and it wasn't an option. I added color and Released Compound Path and that was a mess. Can I ask which font you used in the video and where did you get it? @@ElleBeeCreates

    • @dennyhill6145
      @dennyhill6145 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also I literally just ordered the tweezers, scissors, and application tape that you linked. And I have all that but I liked yours so much better. My scissors are terrible and my weeding tool is subpar at best. I didn't know the application tape came in 6 in size. Thank you for the leads.

    • @ElleBeeCreates
      @ElleBeeCreates  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t remember where I got the SVG font, but if you release compound path on a font, I recommended doing it while it has no color fill and the cut lines are red. You will need to recreate the compound path for any letters that contain counters (like A, B, D, O) by selecting all of the components for that letter and then selecting create compound path so that when you color fill, those counters will show as a negative as expected. If you’re searching for fonts that are actually cut files instead of font files, you can search for “SVG fonts” on sites like Etsy and you will use them just like cut files instead of installing them on your computer like an OTF font.
      I hope you enjoy your new purchased as much as I do! Having the right tools makes crafting so much more fun for me!

    What a great video. I like the markers you placed on the bottom to ensure the design lined up perfectly. I'm curious to know how you went about printing these on your scrap pieces of vinyl. Did you place them on your cutting mat and send it to cut based on the colors of the mandala? I know you had mentioned you replicate the design three times so you can cut the design once vs 3 different times. Do you have a video on that?

      The simplest way is to place the color you want to cut on your mat and only cut that part of the design. Then repeat for each color

    Great video learning a lot what is the cut settings that you used for the 651

    • @ElleBeeCreates
      @ElleBeeCreates  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use a CB09 Blade, so my cut settings aren't universal but I've found the preset settings for adhesive vinyl are usually pretty spot on. Using the test cut feature to fine tune them will yield you the best results

      All have for a blade right now is the auto blade it came with. I have Cameo 3 and for some reason when you send it to cut it goes to the far left side and just loudly makes a banging action several times before it aligns and starts the cut. My question is, is that because the blade is adjusting it's settings?

    Hi again! I am desperate! I made 45 decals to put on clear plastic tumblers. Everything looks amazing except for the fact that the CRICUT transfer tape is either peeling off a layer of the decal itself or leaving serious residue on the decal. Even parts of the word CRICUT is mildly sticking. The decals are super sticky. I am half way done. I have resided to the fact that these will not be great.... but this is ugly and now feel as if I have wasted money on gifts. Let’s not mention the time I have put in. I want to pull my hair out. Plus, peeling the transfer tape off is very very difficult. I am desperate. Any advice? I am using Oracal 365.

      ElleBee Creates I think what I did was burnish it too hard. I had to quickly make 2 more and was more delicate with my burnishing and there was no residue left behind. But it was still hard to pull off. I didn’t notice that it said GLITTER vinyl. I am going to make better choices if I ever do this type of project again. Perhaps order from you. I am just doing this for a few coworkers in honor of NURSES WEEK... (last week).

      This was made using a Silhouette Cameo cutting machine to cut adhesive vinyl.

    I don’t understand what i am doing wrong but i have such a hard time getting the vinyl to stick on the transfer tape and i am using the same materials 😭

    • @ElleBeeCreates
      @ElleBeeCreates  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You may be cutting your vinyl too deep. Try reducing your cutting force a little bit and see if that helps

    When I am trying to change the different colors, it's not selecting all of the same parts, it's doing each individual part a different color....does this make sense? When you click on one part, it changed all the other similar parts to the same color...mine isn't doing that.

    • @ElleBeeCreates
      @ElleBeeCreates  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      that's because I had them grouped together. I have a slightly more advanced tutorial where I show how I group the parts together so they can be changed all at once th-cam.com/video/LWk3drhoV3o/w-d-xo.html

      Where did you get the mandala? The ones I see don't look like you can change the colors.

    • @ElleBeeCreates

      I traced it off of google. Then released the compound path and regrouped like shapes.

      Her initials are TLC, monograms are First Last Middle which is TCL

    You say TLC but make TCL.....

    • @ElleBeeCreates
      @ElleBeeCreates  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Monograms are First, Last, Middle. So her initials are TLC but her monogram would read tCl.
