This really looks difficult in oil. Gotta stretch the canvas, wear gloves to mix paint on the canvas, use a rag,ect.
If I try this one, I'll just do it with acrylic.

Chuck! Let me take a moment to appreciate you and your hand! God, you just created a the most beautiful pain anyone has ever created! I'd say even Bob Ross isn't detailed as you're. The patience, the perspective, the imagination, the details. Everything is just goosebump-y. Especially the light left Coyote's nose! The smooth mountains, golden linings, the shadows on Coyotes, the shadow on mountains, and God damn furry details and the light on them. You just made Sunday night a heartfelt one! I have watched the full video without skipping single stroke! lots of love from India!❤

I’m not sure why, but one of my favorite parts of these paintings is when you finish mapping them out in orange. The end product is obviously the best part, but I love seeing all the detail and time spent in just the orange.

Time just disappears when I watch this as I do when I paint in pastels watching this makes me want to try oil painting as I tried before for a painting a light house but I was put off with it with how messy I got lol but I feel I’m ready to do it. This is simply beautiful kind sir, I have been following your journey for just a little while in the scheme of things and I find that your care,kindness and knowledge shines through with every stroke of your brush and every thing you have to say,bravo to you dear young man! I am truly quite the beginner and won’t bore you with any more details except to say I am fast approaching 70 years young and still recovering from a hip replacement, cannot wait until I can pick up my brushes again and continue my own journey!
