I laughed twice, "Joe Rogan and some guy..." to "Wait, what? John Lennon's son?", I shouldn't have laughed, but I'm an old guy and was alive for Julian's time. He's actually a very talented musician and singer, never mind that he's a dead ringer for his Pop, as opposed to his younger half=brother Sean.
I was born and raised here in Hollywood and worked in the industry for a very VERY long time. Joe Rogan actually worked for me for one event and I've also run into Jullian. I bring this up not to drop, but to explain that this circle of "celebrities" is almost like a small town where everyone eventually knows everyone. If you ended up at 5 or 6 parties a year, you often ran into the same people. But I'm commenting to address something you said: There was never a "SHhhhhh" be quiet thing as if to say there were things that can't get out. It wasn't that. It was more like you didn't want people just crashing the parties. I never experienced an elevator to another level, but one that that is/was popular was valet service or shuttles. That is so the otherwise quiet neighborhoods are flooded by half drunk people trying to find their cars at 4am. The difference between the movie actor parties and the rock-band parties is almost always the drugs there. I've been to parties where there were NO drugs, but was once at a famous band party (I won't say who) there was powder on a lot of noses and some girls (groupies) looked as young as 14-16. Those were the 80s/90s I'm talking about and people got away with a lot more. I made a quick exit to some of those because it just all felt wrong or about to get out of control. AND.... when they said Celebrities can't hang with "normal" people is because there is always something that happens when you mix fame with civilians. The "normals" try to get friendly and often over-step their boundaries because they want a taste of that life. When celebs mix with celebs, there is none of that. Nobody is "fake" friendly. And, I'll let you in on something. Not all "famous" people are rich. Sometimes a rising star or the "it person" of the year, or a singer with his/her first "hit" is known, but still struggling. Only some of the very top are really well off. Your statement that they get rich and down-talk to the poor is really not accurate. Most are actually humble and appreciative for what they have. They just don't party with the non-famous so much because those people always want a piece of them. That's the bottom line. Also, usually 90% of people at those parties, like me, are not always recognizable. Writiers (me), bit actors, sound guys, foley artist, relatives, etc. Again, it's not so much a hush-hush secret society as much as it's their community. Their peers. EDIT: I want to add that, I've been to hundreds of parties it seems. NOTHING was ever like what is suggested at Diddy parties. Most were tame. The closest thing I've seen to being controversial were some of those young music groupies just being there sometimes doing drugs.
Raised in LA, parents in the biz. Been in the biz myself (until I found a really great, steady restaurant gig 😂) I have to concur. Some stuff feels secretive and coded just because people aren't from here. Such as the valets or being shuttled to houses. Most of the places I lived didn't have on street parking or the kinds of driveways and access that I have in my now midwestsuburban neighborhood. So it's not just the rich & famous who have to make these kinds of arrangements when having parties.) Similar to when I'd visit family in the South and they'd cruise up and and down the town street for what seemed like hours then we'd end up at some big party in a field or barn, yet I had no idea how people knew to be there or how to find it. Might as well as been a fairy circle. But there were sofas in a field and a bonfire and obviously some planning. I come from behind the camera folk inherited a bar at 19. I agree about how many people are struggling and also how many folks who "have money" are humble. Trust & privacy and boundaries/real connections are not always plentiful. Lots of people in the biz need connection with people. Love, friendship, creative, professional & yes, adulation/approval. Working crazy hours can make it weird to find. It is an amazingly small town.

I'm a guy and spot a creeper in a crowd. Even when you did see some creepy drunken advances, those older girls would set then straight. Diddy had his parties planned for his freak-fests or whatever they were called. This was his primary goal and that is apparent. The bands just always had after-show parties and sure, there were likely some hookups I'm sure, but I'll also add, out of 10 parties or so, young groupies might be at 1 of those and the groupies usually left way earlier than the rest. They showed up, but certainly not often, and never unprotected.

Mind blown time: He has a brother named Sean Lennon 🤯😛🤩
Joe Rogan will never be fully honest
Lennon was looking at him like " bro you talking too much!"
looks like his Father
How could you not know that it was Julian Lennon, John Lennon’s son? He’s the spitting image of his father.!!!😂😂
Lennons son "Too Late for Goodbyes" good tune.
Watched a bunch of your Bob Seger reaction videos, last night. How many times have you played "Come To Papa" for your wife? 🤣🤣🤣
Cynthia is his mum lol
I thought you were pulling my leg when you said you didn’t know who Julian was. There is definitely creepy energy up in the Hollywood hills.
Jamel, please do a reaction video on the Kim Kardashian Santa baby song. It is way out there with a lot of dark symbolism.
I think of Isaac Kappy when I hear this .
Wow Jamal ….. John Lennon has Julian with ex wife Cynthia and then has Sean Ono Lennon with Yoko ….both men resemble their father😊 I guess your a real youngster Jamal ❤
Julian released a single in Australia
