I think the reason collage professors are nicer is because the high school teachers hold more power over you. In high school you can't just walk out and leave the school and you are considered a child who adults think they have total power over. But in collage, its your choice to be there and theoretically you could just leave. Also, you are considered an adult in collage, so the professors treat you like an adult.
And College teachers get paid more than high school teachers. For high school they get paid depending on who shows up. (Especially students with an IEP like me. They get paid extra) and for college teachers. They get paid no matter who shows up.

So there's a lot more pressure on high school teachers. 2. In college, the professors actually look at the students as adults and equals most of the time (in my experience). In high school, the teachers treat the students like children when not all of them deserve to be treated that way.
College professors (for the most part) have honestly been the kindest and most understanding teachers I’ve had. If it weren’t for them I would’ve probably dropped out or not gone back to school as many times as I did. Thank you Scott for showing this side of college 💖

The college degree is your entry into jobs that pay much more than minimum wage, and jobs that offer benefits like health insurance, vacations, and paid sick days. If you love doing manual labor outside then don't go to college. College isn't for everyone. For students who hated the academic work in high school, a trade school might be a better option than college. America desperately needs more trades people like plumbers, electricians, mechanics, and construction professionals.

Bro I love smaller classes in college, it A. Makes them harder to skip (I’m getting into a bad habit with that for my bio lecture) B. You form better connections and C. I just feel like the professor pays more attention and teaches better. My French professor pulled me aside after class one time and asked if I was okay, she said I hadn’t been as energetic and talkative as normal. I had had an anxiety attack induced by my “intro to EBIO” class (how to be a freshman) and they were talking about majors and nuts hard to do this etc. I just felt really touched that she noticed instantly and made sure I was okay
I actually had a very similar experience to the last one for collage teachers. This one day my friend sent me a message the night before when for once in my life I decided to go to sleep early and the message sounded very....this is my last message to you before I unalive myself. I flipped out. I was messaging him back thing to get him to contact me but he wasn't online all day so I spent the whole day at school unable to concentrate because I thought my friend ended his life when I could have been there for him. My teacher, who I didn't even really like, understood what was going on and let me basically zone out the whole day without getting in trouble. Thankfully my friend didn't unalive himself. He just sent me a message he didn't mean to sound as scary as I took it and was busy with work so he couldn't message me until later in the day.

Well if you get home late then you have to stay up late. But I've never had to stay up late from how much work, only when I procrastinated it.
