OLED panels for pc 100% do cause burn in. Some of them have a setting that like washes the screen when it happens and restores the pixels but dont know if yours does. Even some OLED tvs suffer with burn in as well when console or pc gaming on them. Its the draw back of the tech which sucks. I have 2 lg 32" 2k hdr monitors which are awesome cause i dont game over 1440p on my pc.

Hey Toaster, Oled panels does burn in, and thats the issue with the panels. It's a really cool and good moitor, but for pc stuff burnin is a huge issue. I do think they have some flashing stuff to try and fix it, but if it burns in to bad there is really no way back :/ If you return them get some ips 2k monitors instead, Good qualty for less, and no burnin :D

They changed the slot right before release. The super bonus used to start with 2x around the outside edge and every layer in doubled up to 16x in the middle. They can't people actually win money I guess

OLED all have in common that they easily burn in. They're perfect for movies because, as you noticed already, the colors are amazing. You'd be better of with a QLED monitor though that might be too late now 😅
You should search for the warranty closure if they fix burn in in a short term. It might not be a problem now but imagine how it'll be in a year.

If you ever plan on ever getting a new monitor, go with a 4k LG monitor. It will literally blow you away. The colors are beautiful. There's no other brand that even comes close to LG regardless of the resolution.
