My favorite day with Nala this Summer

- I took Nala out to one of our favorite Summer trails in the Uinta Mountains in Utah. However, this time I wanted to try something a little different and summit a peak that was nearby, rather than completing the trail the same way that we always do. This was one of the most amazing evenings I've ever spent on top of a mountain. I love it when we try something new and it just completely crushes any expectations of how it might turn out.

Watching this on a chilly night (its 1am here in finland🇫🇮) on my porch letting my shy indoor cat explore the yard. She has eaten at least three butterflies and met a hedgehog. I love seeing her happy 🩷 And I love seeing you and Nala happy!

I feel that when people get dogs, they should be ready to be as committed to them as you are to Nala. Sometimes it’s sad thinking about dogs being in a house all day long because people work full time. You get her out there in this beautiful, natural world. It’s healthy for the both of you. There really is just nothing like seeing two individuals living their best, happiest lives together. God bless you two.

I find watching your videos make a smile on my face every time. The way you two look at each other, that is a special bond. Dogs open our hearts and fill them with love. I too adore dogs with every quantum particle of my being therefore I very much love watching you and Nala being able to go off into the mountains alone together like that. I'm sitting here with my 19 year old cat beside me. I've had him since he was a kitten and is my best friend. The years are catching up to both of us. We're both arthritic and he is now totally deaf although his vision still seems good. Tomorrow it's off to the vet to get treated for a nasty upper respiratory infection before it gets worse (a year ago I nearly lost him to an infection that got out of hand). And so it goes...enjoying the bond and love between us while we still can not knowing when it may end. I thank God for the gift of this wonderful animal and dread the day I wake up and he is no longer by my side. Nala is truly a gift...
