Glad you liked the video! In order for this to work in any car, the car must be equipped with wired apple carplay capability. And the iphones used must be iPhone 6 above with iOS 10 and above. As long as those 2 criteria are met, it should work just fine. Hope that clarifies.

Hi. Nice video. May i ask you... Is it the box compatible with the steering wheel control of your car? You know volume or changing songs on spotify etc. And how you can connect the joystick to play games?
Glad you like the video. Yes, all the steering wheel controls work using this device. We can connect a joystick/controller by pairing it to this device using bluetooth similar to how we pair with our mobile devices. Meaning that only bluetooth controllers will work and not the ones that are sold alongwith a usb dongle. Xbox bluetooth controllers should work just fine with this setup as well.

you can use a bluetooth mouse but initially, before you pair a mouse, touchscreen functionality would be required.

Glad you found my video useful. I would recommend a separate SIM card for ease of use. Otherwise the current SIM network plan would depend on your usage, typically double of what you are currently using.

Then it should work just fine. Does your car have wireless option as well? Try disabling that first if possible then try.

unfortunately I won't be able to. However, everything should work just fine. You may reach out to the brand customer care prior to purchasing the device as they must have tested in several car brand models.
I plan to buy this one, but I need more information about phone call handling. Question is the next:
I connect my phone to the car via Bluetooth, and connect the AIBox via cable without SIMcard. I don't use Carplay or Android Auto between IABox and my phone. So what happened, if I use Waze on AIBox and I got or recieve a phone call. How it works, what happened? Could you give some usefull information, or take a video?

Understood. In case you do not use a SIM card and also do not use the Carplay/Android Auto features then you'd have to use your phones hotspot to provide internet access to the AI Box. In that case, Waze and every other app in the AI Box would work normally. And then if you decide to make a phone call, then you would have to use the Bluetooth calling app which I showed in the video. You'd still get to use the car's speakers and mic to communicate with the person at the other end of the call. I've been using this setup as well for some time now since keeping a SIM card in the AI Box doesn't seem to be the way to go for me anymore. The only issue I've encountered in this method is that sometimes, the steering wheel controls do not work only for accepting or denying the call. Rest seems flawlessly just like I showed in the video. Hope that helps.
What sim card woul you use? I have one from an older phone. Would I have to pay for a separate mobile line service?

It is compatible with cars having at least wired carplay. If your car has wireless as well as wired carplay then it will work. Wired would be needed for establish the connection.
Hey Harry, I've got a question you might know the answer to.
Since a couple of days, I can't skip forward to the next track on youtube. I mean, in the car, that doesn't work. On my phone it does still work. It's just when it's connected to AA, there's simply no way to skip forward or back.
Even the on screen buttons to go to the next or previous tracks don't work.
Weirdly, the buttons to fast forward within one video do work.
I have absolutely no clue what's going on. I haven't changed any setting.
I'm using AA wired, with the Fermata auto app.
Which phone are you using? Android version? Did the phone's android version update recently? Have you tried any other app apart from Fermata Auto? Try the youtube auto aur carstream apps. I have videos on all the apps. Check out the playlist section on my channel.

Hi, I'm Getulio and I watch your videos here on the channel. I was wondering if you can help me. I'm having a problem with Apple CarPlay... I have a kronos KR1-T3 multimedia and a Carlinkit CPC200-CCPA to enable my iPhone. When I access Waze, the volume is very low compared to the radio and I can hardly hear the instructions needing to turn up the car stereo a lot to understand, and then turn it down again to go back to the radio; would there be any way to solve this, so I can improve the sound of Waze in Apple CarPlay. Hi Getulio. Hopefully I'll be able to help. This issue seems to be quite common with waze users with no solution to it whatsoever. The only workaround that I found is to reinstall the app which isn't really a fix. Alternatively you can check the sound settings within the app perhaps the sound is set too low there, though I hightly doubt that would be the case. Let me know if it works for you or not.

It will connect via Bluetooth but when connecting to the WiFi hotspot there is an error, ip config failure. So unfortunately, i don't have cellular connectivity. It connects with cars that have wired apple carplay. Having wired android auto is optional but not the minimum requirement.
Harry bought it last week. 2023 toyota corolla hybrid won't work on me. Its just say loading trying to connect then after trying will say it is safe to disconnect from the device.

My Honda only has android 4.4 and android auto is not installed.
Unfortunately, android auto has min. need Android 8.
Even though the car is a 2018 model, the Android in it is so old.

Fermata Auto no longer works on Android 14!!!! only does audio. Do you have a solution for this problem?

What's the difference between the tbox plus and the tbox max?
Honestly, apart from the upgraded design and the inclusion of the RGP lights at the front, I could not find any other difference. They seem exactly alike in terms of functionality.
