Great video tour and info Kyle and Alyssa! I'm the cinematographer/ID.4 owner that got to greet you. I learned so much more from this video than I would have if I had just walked around on my own. Thanks for that, and all you guys do. P.S. If anyone is curious how Kyle and Alyssa handle a random viewer (me) who wanted to say hi, let me say I found them both to be gracious, bright, charming and loquacious, as one would expect.
Great Tour! I missed all the Auto EV because I was too busy test riding and recording all videos about Ebikes out there and I made 360 videos of this Electrify Expo
Thanks for the walk around. As Kyle said at the beginning, he wanted us to feel like we had been there and I do, even from halfway round the world away.
It was a pleasure to run into you at this event on Saturday! It was a great opportunity to see where this "Electrified" landscape is taking us! Your videos and your enthusiasm have certainly powered my own passion for all things electric!
the expo is fairly new.. the more people attend or get exposure to get bigger, more companies would be willing to spend their time and money to show off their cars to the public. Obviously, they would rather spend those money for press on LA/NY/Chicago/etc Auto Shows.
Props to the camera person. They got a really decent combo of host and cars, switched one to the other and back really smoothly and filmed the actual damn cars while the host was talking rather than the host (and both when possible). And the shots where the host floats in and out but the cars are the most important thing… lovely. And always framed well. Yep, props.
What you called a Cadillac behind the Porsche is a Chevy 57 Bel Air 2 door sport coupe with tilt back rear spare tire carrier. The holes at the bottom corners of the rear bumper are distinctive along with the tail fin. Cadillac's had two flare looking red covers horizontal for tail lights as if they were jet engines in the middle of the fin.
Love the comments about Toyota & Lexus refusing to go electric! 🤣 Also, seems like the Model 3 is this generation's "Integra" with all the racing mod's.
I do belive that Toyota is correct. Hybrids and plug in hybrids are the perfect in between until battery range gets better as well as affordability. As well as Toyota’s fact of our current grids and future power generation methods. Until nuclear is adopted then all these electric cars will contiune to be a rich mans car.
@@kennordsfan1494 Sorry, but you are misinformed. As a 2013 Prius owner turned Etron owner, I can saw that hybrids and PHEV's were fine 10 years ago but they're outdated now and have terrible performance. I live in a middle class neighborhood and some of my neighbors own higher end EV's, but many also own Leafs, Niros, Konas & Bolts. My brother is a public school teacher and recently purchased a new Model 3. There's also the used market, especially now. I don't think EV's need more range, the US needs better charging infrastructure, including tons more level 2 in all parking lots for owners who do not have a private garage or driveway.
@@lh2338 Nope, I agree what Ken said because I will buy a fully loaded 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and as a Honda owner, I believe that Toyota is always correct and as long as Electric cars and Plug-In Hybrids exist, they will get better until there are enough supply of e-fuels, hydrogen, and the infrastructure for EV charging and refueling stations for all.
Went to this. This year is better than last year imo. Added more EVs this time. We brought umbrellas to help protect us from the sun. Please cover e-bikes please. Met up with Munro & Associates, a surprise! Missed out bumping into you guys to see you next time!
Great tour! I would love to see better aerodynamics and bigger batteries for the trucks. Camper Vans and busses are the next big thing! Did anyone notice that all the lowered / bagged Teslas were Model 3s? No Model S old gens? Yet.... 😎
6:45 that's what I'm talking about. Old vehicle conversions. These are my favorite electric vehicles. Just not a fan of many new cars, electric or other.
The Pacifica is the only electrified option for a minivan. As long as you plug in all the time, you can mostly run it full electric for most family use cases. Not ideal, but again, it’s the only option.
20:29 I See there's an Evolve booth there. If you start doing more stuff with Out Of Spec Scoots, then don't be afraid to really investigate their battery specs. Historically, they really under-spec their batteries for what their motors can do. They claimed to have fixed it, but I'm more than a little dubious.
I am a little worried at the lack of GM presence lately, especially as some Lyriqs are even on the road. On paper the Lyriq and Blazer look like great options, but with how quiet they’ve been I’m worried that they are having issues with the manufacturing or parts. I’m mostly interested in how close they actually get to their listed range and how much efficiency they lose in cold weather.
They have worked out that they can't make money on EVs, so they have stopped making them. They will keep making ICE until there is no demand and then go bankrupt.
I love China selling Volvo Polestar and showing up with a design bus. Once the Chinese EV's get to the US game over for legacy. GM no cars and no bus. Toyota why did they show up? BMW can they get a designer please.... so ugly
The US government will make trade restrictions or policies which will make them either banned from sale or so expensive that legacy brands will not feel much pressure to deliver better products.
I get that i4 is more expensive than model 3. But look at the entirety of BMW model range, specifically 4-series GCs, ev and combustion. Look at performance and pricing. It looks like i4 MSRP very much makes sense in the BMW range. How could they possibly make it cheaper by 20K or even 10k.
That Volvo bus was interesting but the interior didn’t seem very on-brand or luxe. Definitely a missed opportunity. And I’m sure that design wasn’t a bargain.
I'm so happy I made productive decisions about my finances that changed my life forever, hoping to retire next year... Investment should always be on any creative man's heart for success in life;..
Disappointed that GM was not there with Lyriq, Blazer EV, Hummer, etc, etc. Are they really ever going to produce all the cars that they are advertising?
you know what ev's need nuclear batteries like our space craft use, then the hummer could go to mars and the moon, personally i prefer jeeps but what eva
Kyle, are you truly saying that an electric motor propelled by the electricity generated by a hydrogen fuel cell does not equate to an "electric" vehicle? Do you recall that mankind has used hydrogen fuel cells to produce electricity for most of the manned space missions humanity has undertaken? Gosh, seems that "Electrify" might equate to electricity in forms other than "batteries...."
The EX90 is quite a disappointment. This coming from a Volvo driver. With decent equipment it is €110000 and it doesn’t even come with a leather interior. For me me, the Polestar 3 has it. It is 15k cheaper, better range and has an option of leather. And I really don’t like vapour grey. It is just boring and ugly. (Personal opinion).

This is so awesome! Great seeing you both too. I love that EV boat!
But but Tesla doesn’t have any demand, Glenn Johnson!!

22:20 👀🔋🚤 ⚡ definitely would like to see more Vision Marine and electric boats.
Another awesome video, please cover more electric boat stuff!!

Guessing Alyssa 🤷♂️
I love that Kyle knows what a swatch is
Great vid. You’re very knowledgeable. 💡💡💡
Would love you guys to tell more stories about electric boats, and any news on small, affordable EV outboard motors.
I'd really life to attend this event! I hope Fully Charged LIVE will be just as diverse and supported in October.
big wow
I would love to see more conversion content. Especially plug and play full systems.
Love seeing that rumble motors bike on the test course.

For sure, do some electric boat coverage!
Four Winns! Made in Cadillac Michigan, with that E outboard on the back. Interesting
Out of Spec Boats!
Yes please do review of electric boats and electric outboard motors. Keep up the channel 👍🇳🇿
So when do we get the video of you riding the EB (electric boat)???
Completely agree on i4
Thanks Kyle. Super fast and comprehensive tour! Only Kyle Connor can say the Toyota/Lexus names. 😂 Lotsa love to all from Toronto ❤❤❤
Great video and would love to see you guys review some electric conversion cars.
You should definitely do some electric boat content!!! Would love to see you check out a Candela C8 or an Xshore?? Maybe even a Silent yacht???
Great video! I’d love to see more e-bikes and scooters. Already subscribed to OOS Scoots ✅
Was really looking forward to finding out the bus is electric, we need A-Class motor homes that are fully electric

Love seeing this, very exciting. Need some addon or mods videos

I wanted to go and had the time but I was aggravated by the ticket and parking costs - $25 and $15 respectively
Is there a place to find where the Volvo mobile studio will be? I'm very interested to see if they'll be in the Kansas City area at some point
I would like to see your reviews on NIO ET7 compared to other brands.

Anybody bring in the battery mining photos and conditions to show those off?
He is Kyle Connor, father of John Connor ..the leader of the resistant... enemy of the Skynet.
Will you be covering Fully Charged Live?
Mitsubishi ❤
I test drove the BMW I4, it was crazy good, but you are right about the pricing. It is out of wack compared to the Tesla Model 3. Too expensive.

thumbnail title: "ELECTRIC BOAT!"
40 minute video … 30 seconds of vague comments on electric outboard.
23:00 electric boat
23:30 Diesel pickup
7kw onboard for xc90 and maybe XC60 I think
Holy crap how many Starbuckseses did Kyle have?
Lotseses and Lotseses
Let's see some EV Conversions!!!

BAD KYLE! Shouldn't say lame! It will probably sell well if it's cheep. LOL
They are not refusing Kyle has a grudge. I wouldn’t give him a bz4x. I have a hybrid and ev. This is not called all electric expo
Wow, that glossy wheel arch on the Lexus RZ450e is absolutely horrible! It makes the wheels look tiny! Why would they do that?!

He thinks a classic ‘57 Chevy is a Cadillac? Wow. But what a terrific/educational video.
After searching up pictures of 57 models of both brands it seem like a rather easy mistake to make.

Yeah... e-converting an air cooled 911 seems like a violation of the Geneva convention to me tbh. Literally anything but a classic car please.

Those modified Tesla's look sick as fuck☠️
Toyota gets lamer everyday. "We'll bring 1 EV and sneak in our other ICE models to the Electrify Expo." Pathetic.
not me, I will buy a fully loaded 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV.
5 years max
