I enjoy watching 👀 this series......it's fun, takes me to my childhood.....not the show......the type of program. PS -- I'm only at the beginningc so I can't be giving anything away to spoil the ending, but in this situation I always say .....Ice-dagger.....melts. and "presto" ....no murder weapon. 😊😉
No one expects the Department of Queer Complaints. It’s a dead parrot reference. Discovering an English series with Boris Karloff has been a joy and this one is directed by Hammer legend the great Terence Fisher and Hubert Gregg shows he has more strings to his bow than being the composer of Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner.
Dear BabyBoom. Your description in the write-up, DOESN'T MATCH, the actual episode, we just watched. But besides a major blunder like that, this was an interesting show. Love Boris, but NEVER heard, of this series. Thank you.
This is a wonderful series and Boris Karloff is a lot better actor than most people give him credit for 👍🙂
You must have watched a different film to me, that's some of the worst ham acting you could ever wish to see.
@@manfredwilliams3860 It's all subjective to taste sir :)
Karloff didn't get to play the hero very often but he's wonderful in here!

That's exactly what, I was thinking at first.

it's not dead - it's just pining for the fjords...
@6:03 There is no Ecclesiastes verse 12:16. The twelfth chapter of Ecclesiastes has just 14 verses. Such a simple thing to get right.
The writers did that to avoid paying the
original authors for illegal use .

Pleasantly predictable!
