A little context for Yeri: Red Velvet was not supposed to debut when they did (SM debuted them early to distract from a million scandals: Jessica kicked out of SNSD, EXO members suing to leave their contract, Sulli leaving f(x)). It was so early and sudden that Yeri's parents felt she was too young to debut. About a year later, the parents and SM decided to add her back, since it was so early into RV they thought fans wouldn't mind. Unfortunately not true, #OT4 trended and some fans hated Yeri joining for a while, she got a lot of hate back then. I think she is still the least popular of all the members, Irene known for visuals, Seulgi as an ace, Wendy as a vocalist, and Joy for her acting. Poor Yeri :(
