Thanks for making this information available...I'm still waiting for my Dwarf3 and I'm trying to stay out front of this as best I can, but it's tough without the actual equipment. Love the hat as well as your presentation. Clear skies.
Hi John! I hope you are doing well and receive your telescope soon! I am very impressed with Dwarf telescopes. I own several sophisticated mounts and telescopes, and they are very difficult, on everything! I am happy that you like my videos and hat, I will be doing another Hat giveaway soon, watch for "giveaway" on the thumbnail. I will be here bringing more information and happiness! Diana
I'm glad you found the video helpful! The Dwarf 3 is a great choice, and I'm sure it will arrive soon. Can't wait to hear what you think of it! Thanks David! Diana
Hi Tatersquad. It was intense to record this video with all the different situations that happened, but in the end, I polar aligned and captured some nice images. Last night, the polar aligned was done in less than 5 minutes. Thanks for watching my video and for your support. Diana ❤
I'm impressed with the features of Dwarf 3. You can even see the galaxy from the live view. And those 60s captures give amazing results. Thank you so much, Diana, for all those tips and tricks during the video. I can't wait for the Spanish video.
Rafa!
¡Saludos, amiga! Rafa.
@crumpetsbuttered Hi! Thank you so much! I am glad you liked it. I am recording more videos for Dwarf 3 regarding the settings and how to do light editing . Welcome to my channel, and thanks for your support Diana ❤️
Thx for the video. Waiting for mine to arrive. The portability and quick setup time means I'll be able to take it when I travel to clear skies and to do landscape mosaics.
Hi Alex! I am sure you are going to love Dwarf 3. Now, with the latest upgrades, it is getting even better! I upgraded the app yesterday, and I am waiting for the clouds to go away so I can make a new video. I will release another video tomorrow about other features that nobody talks about. Thank you so much for watching my videos and for your support! Diana
Hola Andre! This little one is super fun, and last night I captured the North America Nebula and Pelican Nebula, and it was impressive. Significant improvement on the sensor for sure. I will post those images in a few days, and you will love them. Gracias por ver mi video! Diana
Thank you for this honest and interesting video. I have been thinking about the Dwarf 3 for a while, and you helped med make the decision to order one today! I have one question for you; what model of tripod did you use, it looked very good. Thank you 😊
I'd love to know too. I only own a very cheap tripod for my phone.....and it will tip over if there is a slight breeze. I'd love to get recommendations on good tripods that are height adjustable before my D3 arrives.
I have a question about polar alignment. I understand the alignment with Polaris. But do you also have to align horizontally to be level? Your video looks like the Dwarf 3 isn't level.
@@Polar-Star hi! The horizontal level doesn't need to be perfect based on my experience with it . I do it close enough. What needs to be accurate is the latitude angle. I polar align under 3 mins now using the tripod ball head permanently at my latitudes angle . I have a video showing this. Thanks for your question and for your support. Diana ❤️
Hey there, Diana very nice video. I like how you always make your videos and add some humor to them. Yes, the aliens did it :-) You are an awesome teacher " Our Favorite Astro Nerd!" Thanks for sharing this. I am sure a lot of us are very anxious to get the D3's delivered to us. 😀❤
Hi Maximilian! I am not sure. I don't have a Seestar. I am in one of those groups for Seestar, and I see it's similar to Dwarf 3. However, one thing I don't like is the Portrait mode only. I read yesterday that a new Seestar is in the process, so I prefer to wait and get the latest one. What I love about Dwarf is the precision and perfect framing when there are no obstructions. I can't wait to test one. Thanks for watching my video and for your comment. Diana
@@yourfavoriteastronerd thanks, with the dwarf can you change the ratio of the screen so if you really wanted to change it so it is vertical can you do it?
Worth getting, nice and mobile. Specially if you combine this with an Ebike. You can ride to any open field or closeby high site or area that is fairly open. Then whip this out and into a tripod (can be a small tripod too). Then take some pics for an 30min or 1hour. and explore. Everything can go into 1 backpack and off you go :) Definitely a good idea to go digital. We still got a old style telescope from like 15years ago that my brother purchased. It's too bulky to be able to move it and mobility. Something like this would do the trick.
I also had the same issue with the 60 seconds exposure. I did not report it to #DWARFLAB yet but it had happened every time I tried 60 seconds. That’s why I stick to the 30 seconds until they fix the bug.
Oh! I thought it was the tree in the way, but it had me thinking. After three attempts, it worked well at 60 seconds. Now, we know about possibilities and technical problems; most people won't. I will tell my Dwarflab contact. Gracias!
Hi Breno! If I am going to do a long imaging session, let's say over one hour long, then EQ mode is the right one. It will greatly help the stacked image, and you will get better results for the FITS format images if you plan to edit them. The tripod I used is a K&F Concept model K2441A. By using a tripod with a ball head, you can save time. Once you've found the right angle for EQ mode, you can leave it set and simply reattach the telescope for the next session. I'll be creating a short video to demonstrate this time-saving tip. Thanks for your comment and support. Diana
Hi David! Absolutely! For my Dwarf 2, I use an Optolong L Pro filter for nebulas, and it works very well. It gives more details and better colors. I love Dwarf 2. Thanks for watching my video! Diana

Thanks for the video. I'm confused about having the scope tilted on the tripod head, not sure how it can align like that.

Hi if I can advice you in something try not to extend the single tripod leag extention in the midle it will make your tripod much more stable ;)
