Row 1: magic ring > ch 3 > dc 14 (15 dc’s total)
Row 2: ch 3 > dc 1 into same stitch > 2 dc per stitch (30 sts)
Row 3: [hdc > dc 2 > tr 2 > dc 2 > hdc > slst] x5
Row 4: [sc > hdc > dc 2 in the next 4 sts > hdc > sc > slst] x5 end final petal on a single crochet not a slst
Row 5: [ skip next stitch and place a slst on round 3 > skip next stitch > sc > sc 2 in next 8 sts ] x5
Row 6: slst > ch 6 > slst in next stitch
Repeat until row 5 for second flower
Row 6: slst > ch 50 > slst
Weave in ends
To connect both:
Cut a piece of yarn 36 inches long > wrong sides facing each other > start on 10th stitch from centre loop > seam through back loops until you reach 5th petal > end on 10th st from centre > weave ends
For round three every stitch is on a single chain am I right
Thanks for typing this out. I believe the final SC before the closing bracket is missing for Row 5.
I love how I could clearly see which stitches you were going into
Thank you so much. I have challenges with crocheting due to my brain injury and I actually accomplished this and I wanted to do this for my granddaughter and I really enjoyed it and I will make more of these. Thank you so very much for this tutorial. I’m going to subscribe❤

Bless you sweetheart 🙏🏼
Love this pattern, but might I say it's important to say in rd 3 if stitches are going in same stitch twice or not. I couldn't tell and had to watch a few times to figure it out. Still love your pattern. Thank you. 😊
Thank you for the feedback! I will keep that in mind when I make future tutorials. I'm glad you were able to figure it out and enjoy the pattern!
Well are they doing that? 😅
@sophiengo6408 the 2 before the stitch means they are worked in the same stitch - so it’s a hdc in the first stitch, 2dc in the next, 2tr in the next, 2dc in the next, hdc in the next, and a sl st in the next. Repeat a total of 5 times. 😁
i am new and like this pattern too. i had to watch also many times to get that it is twice 2dbc in the same stich for row3
Glad someone shared how to do round 3. I couldn't catch it on the video. To fast. Thank you for clearing it up
Your explanations are really clear! I made two with ease, thank you for the tutorial 😊 I can't wait to try the star pattern ⭐

Super cute perfect for carry sweet little things . New subscriber here
Thank you, I made it🎉
Wonderful!
Beautiful work
Thank you very much!
What an awesome tutorial! I saw your post (I think on Instagram?) and found you here. I think you did a great job explaining things, and the added detail of the written instructions on screen makes it even easier for most people, since they can check against that if they are uncertain. And people can always just rewind or slow down the playback speed. Great job with filming, it looks beautiful. New subscriber 👋
Thanks so much 😊
Very sugar👌
Thanks for sharing your beautiful flower. New subscriber here. 😊
Thanks and welcome
I completed my first crochet project and this video helped me
Thanks a lot
Can you also suggest me how to learn granny square ??
Thank you :)
You're welcome!
I love this!! What yarn did you use for this? The colors are gorgeous in this pattern! 😍
Thank you!! I used I Love This Cotton in the color Brights!
I’m with her I totally get lost in rd 3😢 lol I do wear glasses but your fingers got me using a magnifying glass to see through them and I slow down the video 😂 PLEASE HELP
I love these and have been making them. Here's a question for ya. How would I finish these off as a square to make as a blanket? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
I haven't tried this yet! I'd probably start by rounding it out and then squaring it off - definitely some trial and error with the stitches. If I get around to trying that out, I'll post a video!
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet sounds great. Thank you for this tip. Will give it a try.
On rnd 5 what stitch of rnd 3 are you slip stitching in?
This is on my to do list. I’m wondering if the opening and the flower pocket is large enough for a gift card? Would love to give as a gift in fall colors. ❤
It should be! Depending on your yarn, you might go up a hook size to be safe, but the ones I make fit my ID & credit cards 😁
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet wow, thank you for the quick response. Looking forward to more content from your channel. ❤️
What an awesome idea. My daughter showed me ur video on tiktok. I found u on TH-cam. I have a question though. On round 5. It looks like ur doing a SC into the top of round 3, not a slip stitch. Can u please clarify. Thank you. Love ur pattern.
I'm so glad you found my video! You are so right - it can be done either way (slip stitch or single crochet), but for Round 5 I am definitely doing a single crochet in the top of round 3 in the video.
Very nice. I Love the Yarn you’re using. Beautiful. Can you say exactly what yarn you are using. Which brand, color, etc. Thank You.
The yarn is from Hobby Lobby - I Love This Cotton Print, color Brights
One question when I want to change color do I change color when I make my 15 stitches and add the new color
Yes, you can change colors after the first round if you want to! There’s a few different ways to do this, but a simple way would be to slip stitch at the end of that round, ch 1 and cut your yarn to fasten it off. Then attach your yarn into any stitch and begin working round 2. Is this what you were asking?
What size do they end up being? I think mine is over sized with G hook . Granted they can be any size , but I’m curious. My tension is either too loose or too tight .
Mine ends up around 5x5 inches 😁
for the beginners, this might be a little confusing with the instructions. but, you've to see how she did closely. then, you can catch up. ☺️👍🏻
Can you please share the exact name and brand of the yarn? It’s beautiful.
This is I Love This Cotton in the color Brights 😁
Hi can you use acrylic yarn or does it have to be cotton? Thanks 😊
You can use acrylic - it just might turn out a little bigger 😁
I was wondering how you made the legs and head for the turtle using this pattern for the flower bag
The pattern for the turtle is listed on Etsy 😁 It has all the details on how to make the fins, head, tail, and attach it as a bag.
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet thank you 😊
Is this the same pattern that is on your Etsy. I bought the Etsy pattern and came here to see how you did round 6. But this doesn’t look like same as the pattern I purchased.
This is a different flower. Message me on Etsy if you have questions with Round 6 - I am happy to help 😁
hi can i use fluffy yarn istead? thank you
Absolutely! It’ll change the size, but I don’t see why not! 😁
for some reason i can’t get the petals right or i can’t get them at all. mine are barely separated and i don’t understand what i’m doing wrong. when i reach round 3 and do all my stitches in different spaces it doesn’t work it looks like there might be a SLIGHT curve but then it looks like there’s nothing. can anyone help?
In round 3 are you putting the 2dc in the same stitch, the 2tr in the next stitch, and the 2dc in the next?
i am not. i’m putting everything in different stitches like 2 dcs will be distributed between 2 stitches rather than one. wait am i supposed to do the 2 stitches together?
Yes, anytime the number is before the stitch that indicates that they go in the same stitch. Let me know if that fixes your issue! 😀
ooh i see! i’ll try that tonight thank you sm!
Mine looks bigger than photo. How many inches across should this be
It should measure about 5”x5” 😁
Can you tell what kind of yarn you have used
This is I Love This Cotton in Brights 😁
Can someone explain which one is the 4wt cotton yarn? Does it mean a 10ply cotton yarn? Thanks
4 weight is often 10 ply, or medium/worsted weight 😁
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet thank you so much for explaining. I am still newbie and I love your channel. 😍😍😍
How can I make it bigger?
You can increase your hook size if you’re just wanting it to be a little bigger.
What is the size of the hook you used?
4mm / G
I got stuck on the 4th round
Stop at 7:20 , this is just a reminder to myself 😊😊😊
How do you find the top of row three to slst into? I’m not sure I’m in the right spot
You'll be placing the sl st directly below between two of the stitches
Y is my flower curling up 😢
I don't know for sure, but loosen your tension a bit on the later rounds. Also, you might just need to damp block your flower or if you are working with cotton yarn you can use a steam iron : )
too fast!
You can slow it down. Tap the settings icon and you should be able to change playback speed.
