This year we are celebrating some early Christmas fun at the Coeur d'Alene Resort. Since moving to Idaho we have made some incredible new annual traditions with our family! What an absolutely fabulous blessed time ! While many of us who are not able to go out or away due to financial difficulties, can create special times at home. Like using the fire pit or building a small bonfire outside to make smores... or just having a warm fun night in our pj's, under the blankets, watching our favorite Christmas movie, with hot chocolate and cookies.. or sitting around singing Christmas carols... thanks for sharing your beautiful family time at Christmas 🎄💜🎄

This was so much fun to watch. Jeremy, you are everything a father should be to his children. You are there for them with love and a warm and wonderful sense of humor. You make me laugh out loud all the time with your grimaces and antics.

The first thought that was going through my mind as I watched your family enjoy this wonderful and extremely expensive trip was how you sacrificed taking anything for years as you saved up your money to start your journey. Looking back at the gal, whose channel on TH-cam I originally watched to learn about raising meat rabbits, to going forward to today, all I can say is that you have done one beautiful job with your life's journey and I admire you and Jeremy for raising a wonderful family during the process.

This actually made me tear up. Melissa summed up exactly what I want to say. These memories are priceless. You'll never get time back to redo anything so go wholeheartedly into each adventure so when the kids are adults on their own they can say remember when we did this or that, those were the best times in our lives. Their youth is such a small part of their lives so it goes so quickly.

I am a faithful watcher. My Grandchildren lost their 30 year old Mother on Saturday the 17th. My son lost his beautiful wife and I a beautiful daughter- in law. The memories are priceless. Ask your kids a month after Christmas what they got as gifts…unless it was just so personally special, they won’t remember. But ask them about a special trip like this and they will be reciting to their grandchildren about it! Well done.

Oh! This is one my most favorite videos you’ve made and shared with us! I am 62 years old and I felt like a kid watching your family enjoy all Christmas that is my favorite time of year. I prepare all year for Christmas because I never had happy ones as a child. I promised myself when I got married that I would have wonderful Christmas’ and invite those less fortunate. What fun! My mother always made Christmas magical for me whether it was decorations and homemade cookies at home or getting ready to sing with the youth choir on Christmas Eve. Those memories are still part of Christmas for me. I’m glad you’re creating Christmas magic and memories for your kids-memories they will always have to hold close when they’re no longer at home.

The Coeur d'Alene Resort is a treat. I am so happy you got to experience the entire Christmas program there. While I have never stayed at the Resort, living just blocks away offers local residents the experiences. This year we will not have dinner at Dockside but have chosen instead to spend it at home with friends. Family and friends is what Christmas is about in the celebration of our Lord and Savior's birth. Blessings to everyone this Christmas celebration.
I’m so envious of what a beautiful life y’all live. You’ve done everything right, especially with your kids. Today my oldest son turned 26. He has a regular job that affords him to chase tornado’s every season. He was destined to chase. I made him Aunt Megs Gravy ( it’s practically it’s own food group) from the movie Twister as well as mashed potatoes, steak and eggs. The gravy is a two day process but he’s worth the effort. After years of pining away for North Idaho, I finally got my wish, we moved to CDA in July. I am soooo happy and grateful. Wish that we would have made it here sooner so that my kids could have grown up with the beauty and wonder of N ID, but we are taking it all in, bit by bit, even with them being young adults now. We were at the lake a few days ago and saw them unloading the reindeer from their trailer, they were sooo cute. We did not take the cruise but we did walk the boardwalk. I am so grateful for where we live, I just love it. Next year, our homesteading property. Thank you for sharing the joy and wonder of your children at Christmas, I don't have little ones anymore but I enjoyed seeing it through their eyes. ❤️

This is got to be one of my favorite videos. The world we live in today people just get too wrapped up. They forget what it's like to be a kid. They let life bog them down. Suicide numbers are off the charts for adults and kids. If everyone could see this and just go back to a simpler time just for a little while things may get better. I work hard so my grandchildren can see the way it was when I was a little girl. And they really love it. They love to sit around and hear stories from their great-grandmother. Thanks for sharing this magical memory. I feel like I lived it with you all! I no longer decorate for Christmas as my daughter is grown and raising her young men. I gave her all my special trinkets, many were her handmade ornaments, so she can use however she chose. She allowed her two boys to pick their favorites and gifted them those for when they are grown and raising their families. It was great to see you hang up the tools and just take a well-earned break as a family. Creating beautiful memories is such a great thing to do , it's priceless, when the kids get to show their kids when they were little, what they did with mom and dad.
