Gene was pretty funny after the first round (no score) with "we got a pitcher's duel here, with a couple of no hitters." He was sometimes kind of rude to the contestants but, dang that was funny.
Sigh... I can not see Fannie Flagg in any seat other than the last one, Seat 6. Having Fannie in the so-called "Dummy Seat" is really disconcerting. Am I the only one?
This was one of my top favorite shows back then! The panelists got away with so much innuendo in some answers!
BRETT: "You get one guess as to what Kay looks like in that get-up."
MY BRAIN: Poison Ivy.
Kay was obnoxious. She was an alcoholic for years but moved to Florida and got sober finally. Good for her. Love Fannie.
I feel so bad for Richard, sitting so close to Kaye "and" Brett ...
Kaye was the only one to get Asp on the Cleopatra question, the definitive answer in my opinion. It works on so many levels!
Contestant LuAnn's hairstyle was all the rage in 1974, especially if you were David Bowie!
I was just gonna say that!!!
I'm surprised no one has mentioned anything about Potsie being on this episode of The Match Game.
On that one question on the Godfather sundae, on top of all that ice cream was a "horse's head". Or is that thinking too outside the box?
That was my answer as well.
For 2nd Question, I would've answered meatball.

1:55 Holy Sasquatch hair, Batman!
Dig genes pants.

+BJ Wanlund It was weirder when Brett was on the lower tier.
When Kaye said she "got it," I knew she'd chosen ASP. The definitive answer. I do a lot of crosswords. Kaye was the only one who GOT IT!
Coveralls lol.
I liked kaye. She was full of life. Great presonality. Fannie number 6 seat was for dummies too. Joyce bullifant for example.
Unlike Brett, I LOVE Biblical questions
