Mac Mahon line in 1914, Tibet declaring independence in 1913 and British general younghusband attacking Tibet in 1904, Nepal war with Tibet, and you miss Zorawar Singh rajput attacking Tibet and taking ladhak but he also died during the war. Tibetan were force d to sign 17 point agreement. India supporting Nepal defense during that time (early 50’s).
Thank you for highlighting all this. Definitely I will buy your book and learn more.

I first thought of the speaker - being Indian trained/educated - to have more exposure to India and a focus on Npela-India dynamics. Nice to know about his research into the Nepal-China dynamic as well!
BTW there are some extensive audio issues, which I had not encountered with the podcast before, with some words getting out of hearing range -- maybe the speakers moving out of the microprohone's effective range/direction. Please pay attention to this.
Good luck! Please keep bringing more about Nepal and regional geopolitical history... People need to know more.

Brother, till date NO NEPALI has had the courage of telling the true story about our socio-economi-politico relationships with Tibet for more than thousand years. Sadly, currently, almost all of us believe and subscribe the Chinese version of the narrative which is based on a big lie. More so the Bahun/Chettri power apparatus is completely unaware of the vibrant relationships that existed between the two people of Nepal and Tibet. Tibet was taken over by China and Tibet is no longer a free country-its that simple! What can one do if we all like the emperor's new cloth !
