Another great video, keep it coming! I don't have a landmine row machine (home gym), but I never rest the barbell on the floor while doing barbell rows so it's still constant tension. Glad to see I'm still kinda doing it right based on the principles you're teaching. Good on ya!
@@FlowHighPerformance1 I really wish I had your videos when I was starting out weightlifting at 26 instead of now at 46. So much fluff, hype and bad advice in the past that got me little gains, wasted money and worse - injuries. Keep it up! :D
I wish I had these videos when I started too. Hence why I am making them. Hopefully some lucky lifters will see them and the other good information online early in the lifting careers 👍
So like, we should always aim for a bigger tension curve adding things such as bands in the conventional exercises? For instance, the example you used, it's ALWAYS better to choose the cable pec fly over the dumbell fly?
Good question. Not always. Remember, tension curves are just one part of the equation, ontop of everything else. So if two exercises are similar in all other ways, then we would want to preference the ones with a more even tension curve. So in the chest fly example, the cable and DB fly are very similar, although the cable fly has a better tension curve. Just make sure to take all factors into consideration, not JUST tension curves 👍
This is why I like cables, they provide a constant tension during the whole movement.
so much to learn.... bt we are so lazy..... these videos are nothing but knowledge... i am glad I found your channel. i love physics.
Glad the videos are helpful 👍

Makes sense. Always do the best you can within your constraints 👍

great video, tension curves its the same meaning of active and passive tension ??
Good question, we are talking about active tension here 👍

nice vid man!
Cheers 👍
are strength and resistance curves part of the tension curve?
Yes, they are definitely included in this topic 👍
