Thank you for this guide! I brought my old macbook to a repair shop for a battery change but the repairman didn't want to put the thermal paste as well. Told me the antenna wires would rip off if he did. I'm able to replace it myself today! I wished i saw this vid b4 honestly. Could have save some cash if I replace the battery myself. Just wanna ask, what do you do if you encounter stripped wires on a laptop? Do you use a drill or one of those specialized screw removers? Thanks again!
Thank you for this video ! Very informative, you speak every action so it’s easier to follow while doing it without having to look at the video. Would you recommend putting silicone pads on top of the heatsink to let more heat dissipate through the bottom lid ? Cheers
Thank you very much! All the process was so easy following your tutorial. By the way this is also a good video for entertaining, first time I watched it it was just to see a Macbook Air teardown. :)
Glad it helped. First time I heard someone say my teardown videos were entertaining. Hahaha If you haven't already, please like and subscribe so others can find my videos. Thanks!
Dont put it on the smaller die guys…. There’s a reason apple did not put any paste on it. It’s the “south bridge” of the package and does not like the high temps of the cpu. So dont connect it to the heatsink
... wish the put that in the video or took it down. anyway I put it on the smaller die, should i go back and redo I dont believe what you're saying about it not liking high temps if anything it's experiencing the heat anyway. What will it do?

Thank you for the video. Ok so the heat sink and thermal paste are because the Mac was feeling too hot. Problem I am having is the face time worn work says will turn in once the temperature goes down. Even if it isn’t doing anything else. Also the fan continues to run louder or longer then normal. Even when it’s not hot. Would this be a possible solution

Did this and changed my battery, when i put in the battery it automatically started, so i cant reset ram etc. And when i charge i get No light, No battery icon or any searchable battery setting in finder. Is it a faulty battery?
Hello I am having a problem with my MacBook Air 11 inch the volume is not working every time I try to use it as a circle with a line through it. The fans are blowing really loud and the computer is moving super slow. And the FaceTime camera seems like it’s not working. Is there any fix for this or is there anyway I can send it to you to fix?

@@ItsBinhRepaired yeah sure! But you know I think it wasn't that worth repasting my MacBook air 2017, didn't saw much improvement on temps to be honest xD and I'm surprised that I didn't found the amount of dust I think it would have... :p

Silicone has very low thermal conductivity. Not sure where you heard to use silicone, but I wouldn't do it.
Thank you very much!
