lot’s of fun updates in this one! ❤ OH and comment your advice below about what we should do for the back wall of the living room? Team board & batten? or Team wall mouldings? ✨
@@HaleysCornerr Wall moulding !! And paint it a beige or sage green color to match the accent in the rug . Also if you have a hallway or spot in your entry for the mirror , or even your bedroom . Love love love your style , your an inspiration to us . Lit house ❤
The wall molding would make the space feel sophisticated and more grand. You could also maybe find some cute wall sconces for the wall as well! The kitchen island lights are a dream too!
I love the island lights. I agree with the chairs, a bit darker would fit in better. I think wall molding would be look amazing and as it’s way easier and probably cheaper as well it’s a win. Lit house
20:50 honestly both are so nice and stylish but I think the wall moulding will match the style of the furniture so well (lk the coach and the mirror), also I guess hats gonna make the wall looks more higher ❤
Haley!!! Please put all of your moving/decorating videos into a playlist! I’ve watched EVERY ONE because I am moving soon, and this is giving me SO MUCH inspiration💗🏠
For the stools I think a darker shade would match a lot better and also for the wall definitely wall moulding I think it’s enough to add character and not be plain but not too busy! In my opinion the Borden badden would make it look too busy and u don’t want to take attention away from your furniture/decor!!❤ lit house
Ummm cuteness overload! The best helper. The excitement you have for her learning and continuing education is so infectious. This is my first viewing and I’m already in ❤
Darken the stain on the seats to match your shelves and 100% wall molding🎉 I think the board and batten lean country and molding leans more french!!! Everything looks so good❤
The wall molding would look so cute! It will add character and keep the clean French feel. The bar stools were an amazing purchase and definitely need to be a little bit darker. Love the little house!
Go for wall moulding & darken the stools to match the shelves it’s the seat colour that’s pulling it towards farmhouse darkening the wood will match your look perfectly and love love love the new lights
heyy just an idea .....i dont know if u will like it but i feell like adding frames on top of ur couch with pics and not just any frame.........try to mix and match big frames and small frames like a gallery wall and add ur on touch to it try and personalize it.I feel like u might find it funn so yeah
I vote that you keep the stools the way they are!! The structure matches the floor and the straw bottom color matches your floating shelves 💗 match made in heaven!
I think you should do wall moulding and make the wall a statement color, even if it’s only subtly darker like the color of your kitchen cabinets! I think it would add some depth and warmth and a much needed subtle contrast from your white couch. ❤
Haven’t even watched yet and I’ve already liked I had to come and look if you had posted already , so excited to see that you have ❤️🥰 I know it’s going to be an awesome one!
I think you need color to enhance your space and make it feel more warm. If you do the board and batten it will help you do that 🤗 you won’t regret adding a bit more color to your walls
If you do moulding it needs to be on more than one wall in that area to make it feel cohearant whereas the board and batten could work on its own as a 'feature wall'. lit house
Wall moulding for sure !! And the olive green in half would bring so much difference or you can go with shades of brown as most of the furniture is a tome of brown Something dark in half
WALL MOULDING!! Before you even gave examples and said texture I was already envisioning the moulding. Also I LOVE the chairs and they would look perfect and really even out the colors and accents of the kitchen if they were stained the same as the shelves.
I would leave the colour of the bar stools as they are. The variation of this wood tone matches really nice with the rest of your kitchen, because it's still cool toned
Definitely board and batten walls with that neutral beige paint color you have on your interior doors 🤎 It would be a stunning feature piece in your dining/living room area, and the fact that you'll have a long shelf/ledge to put more plants and decor is a plus!
Either wall details style would look beautiful in your home. I feel the wall mouldings lean slightly more elegant, while the board and batten leans slightly more cozy cottage. Both would be stunning. Definitely darken the counter stools (what a wonderful find!). The new island lights are gorgeous! Sometimes you gotta roll the dice on an Amazon gamble. I dont know if you're finished with your kitchen, but how would you feel on adding a bit more warmth? Through perhaps a warm paint colour detail or some wallpaper?
Love the new lighting! Board and batten would be beautiful especially if your doing it 3/4 a way up the floor! And paint it one of the colors from your pretty rug!! ❤❤❤
i absolutely love the pendants for the island. Also, i love the molding idea....but it needs to be an updated look, not traditional. All of your choices are so good❤
Yes bring on those cooking videos, looks so yummy and can’t wait to try it! ❤❤❤ Also my vote is for the board and batton. I think a baby pink or sage/ muted green would complement the gold and neutrals in your living space.
In traditional french and english homes, the wall molding is typically in the public rooms/salons like the living room, entertainment room, and dining room. Whereas, the board and batton are more typical for private rooms like washrooms/bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as service rooms like kitchens and cupboards. If trying to replicate a more authentic style, I'd recommend this guideline. But either way, I can't wait to see what you choose and how your house comes together.
Guess I’ll be the odd one out and vote for board and batten.. I think it would ground the whole space so well, I’d do a complimenting shade of brown. And I think the white washed stools would pop with the stain you used for your tables 😍
Haley, if you do some time of crown molding in your walls you could do accents of gold gilding. I like when houses have crown molding or ornate scrollwork instead of just a plain wall it really adds a lot of character and the gold gilding would go well with the gold accents you already have in your house! Also some family pictures on the walls would make for a cute and cozy personal touch as well! You could always do a gallery wall with a mixture of family photos and other photos you find aesthetically pleasing!. If you do board and batten you could always do some kind of ornate pretty wallpaper to bring character to your home as well and a simple color on the bottom. Also, with the barstools in your kitchen I think a bit darker color would suit it better and it'd add a pop of color to match the shelves. Love the pleated lampshade. Pleats on lampshades are gorgeous!
I like the first choice with the shelf. If I were to paint it I would use the same color as the wall but with a slightly warmer tone. It's not too much of a contrast so it won't interfere with your decor for the seasons. I would also scout out for a substantial sized frame so you can interchange seasonal themed paintings/prints/posters (that don't look cheap LOL). Good luck!! Looking forward to your choice :)
The house is looking amazing! Love all organization of the spices and the introduction of cooking in the vlogs again! The barstools look amazing, the stain to a bit darker would make them fit in perfectly and be a great learning moment for me to see! The island lights are absolutely stunning, cannot wait to see them up! I think the board & batton would look amazing yet still leaving room for the mirror and other decor in the future. My history teacher in high school did it on his own in his house and I turned out amazing so I know you could do it too! I think a different color would great but perhaps to tie in the living room and dining room subtly incorporating a not too standout color from your living room to the wall would look chic and still add specialized character! Have a blessed week!
I think the pendant lights are beautiful. I will say with them being white and your walls are white and cabinets a lighter cream color, they may get lost in the space. I’d bring in some more wood tones or a gold pendant light. ❤ Also I’d definitely do molding for the living and dining space.
Firstly: those chairs 😍 Secondly: those lights 😍 Thirdly: the wall ideas 😍 both are beautiful. I love the board and badden, especially like painted a neutral colour! And for the wall moulding, would you do the full length of the walls(floor to ceiling)? Or would you only do the bottom half of wall? Or could you possibly mix the two (if within budget), the boards below with the lip as a shelf (as you said) and have a little bit of moulding above it? Definitely keep the main wall white though, (it's a great base colour) because you can always add or remove colour by the decorations. And also you can have more creative freedom in the future in case you wanna change it up, swapping things out for other like artworks etc. etc!! ❤❤ I'm super duper excited for the final result!! And the choices, oh!! And I LOOVE your cooking videos in the pass!!! I'd love to see more again! X
Lit house! Love the lights above the island. Chairs do look a bit beachy and might look better stained. I think the board and batten fits with your current aesthetic better than the wall molding and would be a good way to bring in color to balance out the neutral earth tones
lot’s of fun updates in this one! ❤ OH and comment your advice below about what we should do for the back wall of the living room? Team board & batten? or Team wall mouldings? ✨
i think either white mouldings or beige board and batten would look so cute!!
I guess I like either option. I suppose my main question is, for the first option, whether you want a shelf running the whole length of the wall.
I like the colour of the bar stools, I would not touch them. Wall molding for sure and I love the island lights! Great choice!
Wall mouldings for sure! Leave the board & batten for the bedrooms, hallways or entry way for example 😉
Wall mouldingsss
wall moulding!!!!!!! for sure!! Just worried about the mirror placement but i am sure you will figure it out!
Yeahhh! Honestly I was thinking to move the mirror but legit have NO where else to put it 😂
@@HaleysCornerr Wall moulding !! And paint it a beige or sage green color to match the accent in the rug . Also if you have a hallway or spot in your entry for the mirror , or even your bedroom . Love love love your style , your an inspiration to us . Lit house ❤

Great points thank youuu! I def don’t want it to be too busy but just enough ✨✨✨
cream board and batton would be so cute and make the home so much warmer and cozier
I do love that idea! ❤
Lights are perfect! I think molding for the living room
Wall molding would look best there. I love all your lights. They are beautiful.
Thank you!! ❤
Ummm cuteness overload! The best helper. The excitement you have for her learning and continuing education is so infectious. This is my first viewing and I’m already in ❤
Aw hi welcome!! 🥰 it’s honestly such a joy to see your kids succeeding 🥹
Darken the stain on the seats to match your shelves and 100% wall molding🎉 I think the board and batten lean country and molding leans more french!!! Everything looks so good❤

Lit house. I would choose the wall molding. It will look really good.
20:29 I think Number 2 is the best (lit house)

Both would be pretty but I feel because it’s such a grand wall the wall molding would be so charming
I vote that you keep the stools the way they are!! The structure matches the floor and the straw bottom color matches your floating shelves 💗 match made in heaven!
Good point! ❤
Love when recipes are included.
Omg the bar chairs are amazing !!!! Love them.
Option 1. I like the idea of it also functioning as a shelf. Love the lights for over the island. Very pretty!
I think you should do wall moulding and make the wall a statement color, even if it’s only subtly darker like the color of your kitchen cabinets! I think it would add some depth and warmth and a much needed subtle contrast from your white couch. ❤
I love the spice drawer organization! Less waste because you can see and use what you have. I get so many ideas from you ❤
Haven’t even watched yet and I’ve already liked I had to come and look if you had posted already , so excited to see that you have ❤️🥰 I know it’s going to be an awesome one!

Wall moulding
I think you need color to enhance your space and make it feel more warm. If you do the board and batten it will help you do that 🤗 you won’t regret adding a bit more color to your walls
Looking at your living area I prefer wall molding. It adds class and character to your beautiful place.
Yes love cooking segments. Wall molding in same color, less kitchy
New subscriber from South Africa. just love that you dont waste time😅 you get ro the business. I can learn alot from you❤
If you do moulding it needs to be on more than one wall in that area to make it feel cohearant whereas the board and batten could work on its own as a 'feature wall'. lit house
I think some type of neutral wall molding/board for the bottom half, then a brown floral-y wallpaper for the top would be great!
Wall moulding for sure !! And the olive green in half would bring so much difference or you can go with shades of brown as most of the furniture is a tome of brown
Something dark in half
I'm so late to this video but I am a sucker for wall framing. It's beautiful!! So, highly recommend the framing for your living/dining wall! 😄
I would install floor to celling bookshelfs, with mirror in the middle. Beatiful home and sweetest children.
Wall moulding will look great for the living room!!! The island lights are beautiful 💕
Staining the straw seats on the barstools to match your floating shelves would look so good!!
I think the wall molding will look good in your living room ,the island lights fit perfectly with your style and so are the bar stools ❤😊😊
WALL MOULDING!! Before you even gave examples and said texture I was already envisioning the moulding. Also I LOVE the chairs and they would look perfect and really even out the colors and accents of the kitchen if they were stained the same as the shelves.

Definitely board and batten walls with that neutral beige paint color you have on your interior doors 🤎
It would be a stunning feature piece in your dining/living room area, and the fact that you'll have a long shelf/ledge to put more plants and decor is a plus!
Use a crown molding on the wall like a long shelf and do holes framed mirror so many different sizes as a wall collage
I think wall moulding would look really great along that wall.
option number 2 will look so cute 😍
I love the idea of the wall molding. I think you could also paint the same wall in a light color that matches your light colored pillow on the sofa.
Lit house! Wall molding for sure! It’s cheaper, versatile and very easy to do.
Wall moulding looks elegant
watching people getting their dream house/ dream decor make me so happy 🩷
Wall moulding looks beautiful
I like the look of wall molding personally. You def have a well lit house with all those lights! 💡
Your little girl doing her learning is the cutest ❤
Either wall details style would look beautiful in your home. I feel the wall mouldings lean slightly more elegant, while the board and batten leans slightly more cozy cottage. Both would be stunning.
Definitely darken the counter stools (what a wonderful find!).
The new island lights are gorgeous! Sometimes you gotta roll the dice on an Amazon gamble.
I dont know if you're finished with your kitchen, but how would you feel on adding a bit more warmth? Through perhaps a warm paint colour detail or some wallpaper?
Wall molding for sure! And possibly some statement pendant lights with some French country artwork with some warm toned colors!!!
I would love a list of the spices you have in that drawer!!

Yes on the island lights ❤ team board and batten and paint the bottom ♥️ lit house ❤
Thanks for your feedback girly ❤❤
Love how your spices came out. Great tip on the barstools. I would do cane pendant lights. To match your barstools.
In traditional french and english homes, the wall molding is typically in the public rooms/salons like the living room, entertainment room, and dining room. Whereas, the board and batton are more typical for private rooms like washrooms/bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as service rooms like kitchens and cupboards. Lovely video.. Wall moulding for sure and please keep the stools in its original state, the mirror can fit into the moulding.
Aaliyah gives such a cheeky and cute vibe ❤❤ also house tour Plss ❤❤
Wall molding would look amazing! ❤
Wall molding and keep it white!
Love the new kitchen pendant lights!!

The wall molding is my favorite. I think it should be the same color as the walls. Love the pendants too!
Team wall molding! I would stain the stools a tab darker. Great choose on the pendant lights! ❤
I think the pendant lights are beautiful. I will say with them being white and your walls are white and cabinets a lighter cream color, they may get lost in the space. I’d bring in some more wood tones or a gold pendant light. ❤
Also I’d definitely do molding for the living and dining space.
Love the lights and moulding across the wall
Team wall moldings 👌
was watching a video and at the start they were making coffee and it reminded me of your channel!🌷🌿
Colored board and batton will look beautiful
I've been enjoying so much this house videos! So excited for my house when the time comes
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do wall trim!! I think that it would be so classy!
To me, wall molding is more formal and board and batten is more casual. So I think it depends on the look you are going for.
I love the wall molding. You picked some really pretty lights. I love having a draw for the spices. ❤
The house is looking BEAUTIFUL 😍 you did such amazing work 🎉🎉
Leave the barstools as is. Some small variations in wood give a more interesting freshness and eclectic look. That is my opinion. Love your channel!
Wall molding for sure! Doing it in our new house as well to bring back that character.
Firstly: those chairs 😍 Secondly: those lights 😍
Thirdly: the wall ideas 😍 both are beautiful.
I love the board and badden, especially like painted a neutral colour!

Omg Hayley you guys have worked so hard for everything you've got but I'm so jealous ❤
Wall moulding looks so gorg
