Regarding the size of properties in West Village: just how small is small? In terms of square feet, what would be the average size of a 2 bedroom apartment? Really excellent and informative video.
Most commonly, 2br condos in West Village will be about 1500sf. I ran a search for you of the active inventory actually. Keep in mind coops will be less in price and often larger (however they don't disclose sf!)
It’s a nice neighborhood to visit, but everything is expensive including apartments, much of it is touristy, dirty and crowded, and it’s not as safe as people assume.
Quite expensive indeed. A lot of my clients also consider the Upper West Side (UWS) for its similar vibe of the tree-lined streets with brownstones. You have Central Park and Lot of restaurants on Amsterdam and Columbus. Much better pricing there. One of my first videos I made was about the UWS th-cam.com/video/QA7pzHF_DiM/w-d-xo.html
@@newyorkvisionary Ah my favorite! I love it there! I feel like WV, UWS and Park Slope have common traits. Park Slope is one of the most resilient neighborhoods in all of NYC
Red Line, Blue Line? What city are you talking about?? The Red and Blue line are in Chicago. NYC has the 1,2,3, A,E,F, C,D and a few others. No Red or Blue. Orient yourself
@@kkelly9424 You’re calling me out on my laziness Kelly lol! Idk why but I’ve always said “blue” instead of ACE seeing it’s all the same color. You’re right though when I’m doing these videos I should be more detailed and speak as a local!

Heres a link to those listings! cmps.re/3PxnniR
Nice briefs. Keen em up.
Thank you!
Great info. Thanks
My pleasure!
Another con is...despite all of the charm, parts of the W. Village can get quite noisy. The narrow, congested streets amplify the vehicular sounds...
Good point!
Noisy and has many elements of crime
Lack of parking isn’t a con, it’s a pro: it means fewer drivers causing noise pollution and dangerous streets
Great point!
Not if you have a vehicle and living there .
omg the puppy! 😿😿
I know! Poor little guy 🐕

@ Absolutely! The architecture is some of the best in the city in all 3, but in their own unique ways 🙏
