Beautiful pieces once again... I really want to make the sabai top too! I am craving a dk project, because I usually just knit in a light weight yarn: right now a big shawl in KFO pure silk😬 and I seem to be knitting forever on the Belleville pullover by Christina Danaee... Let's see if the sabai will happen this summer. Take it easy, you are doing enough💕🐑💕🐑
Oh my goodness, a shawl in KFO pure silk is quite the project but will be so worth it!

Love your podcast! I love to natural dye yarn too. Sorry to hear about your headaches. I get migraines from a visual disorder I found out I had a couple years ago. I have something called binocular vision dysfunction where my eyes don’t like to work together. If you have headaches I’d recommend getting your eyes checked by a binocular vision specialist to rule out any visual issues. Hope you can figure it out soon and get relief! Headache issues are the worst.

I recently got diagnosed with ehlers danlos syndrome which is what they think is the culprut for the ongoing headache - been trying lots of treatments so hopefully something will help lol!

@@karliepaige8269 hope you find a treatment that works for your headaches soon. It’s always hard trying to find the root cause of things. My migraines are much better now that I have microprism glasses and know not to over stress my eyes too much.

The brown socks with the waffle texture is madder, sequoia, and an iron bath - the ribbed socks were a mixture of dried flowers I can’t quite remember as it was a long time ago lol!
When I share the hand dyed I’ll try and remember to say what it was dyed with lol!
I have the same proportion problem that you have. My fingertips also almost reach my knees, but I'm 5'1". Shortening the crotch depth is one alteration I make. I also now make the front and back pieces almost the same because my bum is so flat. To make the pants more interesting, I either put the pockets on the side seams (would be very interesting with your oval patch pockets) or leave them off. I sometimes add a set of ties at the bottom of the outer leg so that I can tie up the lower leg for an interesting look.
I love the idea of those alterations, I might give them a try! Thank you!! ☺️💕☺️

HI Karlie, I am so sorry to hear that at such a young age you are fighting such a debilitating condition. I have chronic sinusitis. I live in Denver, and in high summer like we are experiencing now, and in winter inversions in the cold, I struggle with debilitating headaches that get worse the higher the air quality index. Right now, 6/23/ the AQI is 84, expected to go over 100, which is "unhealthy for sensitive groups" (like kids). I am 72, and retired, so I can find ways to deal with it. But I know it is hard. On the upside, I love your hand dyed yarns. Do you have podcasts talking about your methods? I am ready to give it a try if you have suggestions. Lastly, I have knit 7or 8 pairs of socks. I am a former attorney, so writing is almost second nature to me. If you would like some help just putting your socks into pattern form, I would be happy to help. I'll drop you an email so you are sure to see this. I think it would be a quick and fun exercise for me.
