I started listening to this interview and I think I got about 10 minutes in when Marc Maron started gushing over breaking bad and how great a series it was. So I paused this podcast for about 3, 4, or 5 years so I could watch breaking bad and then come back and finish the interview because I didn't want to hear any spoilers.
As, if not more relevant, 4 years to the day later, hasn’t lost any edge, fucking timelessly brilliant. I just rewatched season 1 straight on till the end, annnnnd it’s still a piece that could have been released yesterday or next year. What else can you say that about?
@@iamchriswick I believe there is video of wtf podcasts I’d you subscribe to his other platforms, personally I’m not a fan of Maron himself so I don’t contribute to his streams financially or otherwise except to his specific TH-cam streams such as this one and a few other highlights. Breaking bad however is available on Netflix, which is well worth the cost of admission especially during covid
Marc, I hope you didn't give up your packing tape roll to a stranger. If you used it, it probably has some good fingerprints on it. WTF? Sorry, man. That's just me being paranoid on your behalf. Anyway..... Good luck with that. 🥴 I love these interviews, you lucky bastard! 😎👍🏼
BB creators and fans are too funny. Walter was never a likeable character, a caustic entitled narcissist that just gets worse. Him bringing down everyone around him was predictable but the acting was superb & seeing the story from all sides is what made the show
Interview starts at 15:18
theflyby thank you sir

"Contagion is scary and plausible." You said it, Bryan ^_^ Awesome interview!
2023...Excellent. Educational and entertaining.
Underrated interview. Deserves many more views.
Plugs should be called WhatThePlug.
Great interview
Loved him as Hal on Malcolm but Lois scares me more than Walter...he was awesome on the 'chips' episode
Right on, Hal was the Best!
That episode of "Malcolm" where the bats get loose in the house is amazing. Cranston is an amazingly gifted actor.
I never got past the first season of Breaking Bad.. maybe I should revisit it.. 🤔
30:00 gold Jerry gold !
This is a good interview, without the host interrupting and inserting personal anecdotes of his own that nobody wants to hear about. Very Good!

I don't see him as a malignant narcissist. He got more that way toward the end, I'll admit. But that's not the essence of the character.
it is a mr chips type thing.....
