He wasn't even that forceful about the disgrace of hiring McDenial, instead phrasing it as something not justified because he questioned what she "could bring" to NBC. That's an absurd thing to ask. Now that NBC has changed course and cut ties with her, that doesn't change the fact that NBC execs thought there was something good about having Ronna M on their networks when it was only a sick idea to begin with.

McDaniel fails to mention that many European and South American countries have been dealing with inflation also, besides the U.S. for the last few years. Like the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, and the list goes on. Pres. Biden is not responsible for inflation; that's our Fed's role.

I don't watch Meet the Press anymore because Chuck left. I watched some of this today because I heard he is on. One or the few people in the media that would negatively impact my viewership of a network. I watch NBC shows besides Meet The Press likes the Law & Order series and others. But if NBC punishes Chuck for speaking the truth, then I wouldn't miss watching NBC shows anymore. Nor would I care to subscribe to Peacock anymore. There are enough things to watch nowadays that I can switch and not feel like I'm missing something.

While I half-understand Justice Bryer's decision to not comment on current cases before the SC, it resulted in him doing nothing more than a book promotion. Not helpful to the American public, IMO.
I am all for a free press. I think it is essential to a functioning democracy for their to be a fair, HONEST and diligent (news) press to inform voters. I would relish a 2 party functioning government that has serious debate and compromise over policy and tried to win voters on merit of the party’s position and ability to execute a functional government. However, I don’t subscribe that equates to having to listen and watch full throated liars, gaslighters and hooded MAGA representatives. Unless she wants to do a full mea culpa for everything she has stated over the years, then there is no reason to have her on this very respected network. She even came close to lying in the interview today. There was nothing to look into about 2024 voting. The Republicans own picked Department of Homeland Security stated it was the safest election ever. Mic drop!! Name one valid thing?!!! Did Gore take it this far when he lost to Bush when Bush’s brother was Governor of FLA?!! Think of what MAGA would have done in that situation.
If gutter “access” is what NBC needs to increase it profits and busienss results, it must be in trouble.
I’ll be watching less NBC and hope the same fate does not happen to MSNBC.
Glad to see there are other logically and principled reporting choices on the internet such as MTN that one no longer has to rely on chump decisions such as this one.
