I have dear friends in the USA, like me in the UK they are ancient of days and I fear for them - to have the Trump mendacity and fecklessness in their last years and with health problems present and lurking, it is a nightmare for them. You give us all so much in these uploads that is sustaining and exposing of the true nature of what infects the Oval Office, the USA and of course, the world. Trump had the money and influence to employ others to have adequacy in his stead. In this position his maladroit character is laid bare and visits 4 years of madness with no risk of removal. In the UK one can be a Minister of State without a single qualification but they don't get their selfish way en route to the top. We have our own quagmire in the UK and the way forward is not clear for either country. I am minded of the quotation;"We cease to live the day we do not speak of what is evident" I have not got that quite right but that is the sense of it. One thing that bothers me is that many in other countries are FAR more informed about world events then Americans, which partially explains how the U.S. ended up with this kakistocracy. Don't think Trump will be in office for the full 4 years and I do believe that measures will be put in place to ensure that it can't happen again. It sure would be nice if Americans acknowledge that their complacency allowed this to occur. So many of us truly appreciate the support and concern that peoples of other countries show to us. I know that I will never forget that. I don't know a lot about the situation in the U.K. and I apologize for that but it would be putting it mildly to say that anyone in America that is not a Trump supporter is struggling like hell to try to stay on top of everything that is happening here.
