He should have a wider body. He's not a skinny guy. Also, the female Wildcat was not his daughter but his godchild. And Wildcat does have powers. He has nine lives!
I’ve been a Wildcat fan since ‘74, and somewhat to my surprise…I like this figure. I dig the head-sculpt, and I had a feeling it would look even better in person. The only complaint I have is the fade into the black boots. I don’t really get the thought process there, but I can live with it. Even the lighter blue paint highlights are starting to grow on me.
@ 100% agree they need to get rid of the texture on both bucks and start using them. IMO they are the best sculpts they have done for human sized males
Two things. One: He's not bad but I do wish they'd used a bulkier body for him. Two: The reason Wildcat is still alive today is because back in the 90's they retconned him as having 9 lives. I think he's used 2 of them so far.
I see this as a younger leaner wildcat His 9 lives thing is inconsistent Sometimes he has 9 lives during a single fight and as long as he only dies 8 times he’s ok It’s weird and kinda dumb
They really should have just thrown a coat of black paint on him. I dont think anybody wanted this light shade they used. When i think Wildcat, I think of his black costume.
Should call this Alley Cat, not Wildcat. Questionable head sculpt. Upper body too small for the character and out of proportion with the lower body. And while McFarlane apparently cannot do a black wash on figures that scream for such treatment, they can do this "highlight" technique that makes it look like he was baking bread and couldn't wipe all the flour off his costume. And then there's the artwork that would be suitable for scaring away mice, if they wouldn't laugh at it.
@dHuntersReviews I used to cut McFarlane some breaks but a) they've been at this a long time and b) they've shown us what they can really deliver when they choose to. And most of the time, they don't. Sometimes it's something a little off. Sometimes it's more significant. But when I take a fig out of package and cannot get it to even stand straight in a vanilla pose (because the leg articulation prevents the legs from coming close enough together to do so) or other nonsense like that, it eats up another bit of the enjoyment I have in Todd's products.
I wouldn't have minded this being a Collector's Edition IF it came with a duffle bag and Punching bag setup. That would be the ideal set for Wildcat IMO.
They really didn't do Wildcat any justice...I wish they would've made him look like he did in the "JLU" animated series.
I imagine we'll get another version or 2 eventually. Easy reuse.
@dHuntersReviews you're probably right...first time viewing your channel, well done, I subscribed and am looking forward to your next one. 😀✌️
@dHuntersReviews unlike cat-woman and or Cat-man- he's just a boxer right ? i.e. No powers, gifts etc and no Cat-gadgets like ‐Batman Cat-man
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah at least we got that character so stop complaining
@@CL2300blockwhat if they made a figure u wanted for years and it came out trash and reused?

When I looked online it said his daughter filed in for him as wildcat for a time
I see this as a younger leaner wildcat
Part of early JSA

Captain Carrot or Waverider/Batrocitus body would have been perfect. Those bucks need to be used on most of the main JL for beefed up versions
@@UniversalLevelThreat too textured
I see this as the younger wildcat
More lean

Would have loved a TDKR body for the bulk.
Hello, Texan viewer here, I actually found that platinum red hood! (10:05) Did you still need it?

Great figure. Happy with it personally
ever since i got commander steel i know i want to try to get all of the jsa
There are so many different JSA members over the years
@@dHuntersReviews i can put commander steel as one of them
Thank you.
I think he deserved a more buffed body. Not extremely buffed but more than that.
Costume looks more like a dog than a cat. I was looking forward to this but I prefer the DCUC wildcat.
The figure looks cool, but yeah, the mask could be better.

Wildcat is a tank! Body is too small

Harsh
Some valid points
I definitely laughed

I only know him from Batman the brave and the bold .He was great in that show

Yeah, I was gonna make a training display but ran out of time
I'll get him if he's available on pre-order..
I'd love, but I know I'll never get, an Al Pratt Atom, and an original Johnny Thunder figure.
I still love my Mattel one locked away in his plastic prison.
Which color?
The bluish one
Like the detail on his mask.
It's cool, but could be a little better...
They should've used the Batman Three Jokers body buck
Nah the black lighting body os perfect
It’s funny McFarlane makes this but hasn’t made any mad hatter figure yet.
God that figure is bad really disappointed
Straight to ROSS McFarland line for 2025
