For anyone surprised Reacher could get this dark, let's not forget he avenged his brother by finding the guy who pulled the trigger and setting him on FIRE. Reacher is definitely the "kill flies with sledgehammers" type when it comes to people who hurt the ones he cares about.
That phrase from Detective Rust Cohle (True detective season 1): No. I don't wonder, Marty. The world needs bad men. Keep the other bad men from the door
I've had a catheter in once before. Even without having it get over inflated it hurts when you get moved around. I cringed, winced, and felt it so hard when watching this scene.
The Reason a jack reacher doesn't have too many enemies because ... He takes him out. Just like the punisher. Don't feel too sorry for the guy on the bed.He was a killer.
I've actually had the experience of wearing a catheter in the hospital. The bulb he's referring to is the one holding the catheter inside. The pain just putting it in is indescribable. KEEPING it in makes it impossible to sleep except by sheer EXHAUSTION. If it's possible for a man to experience a pain more incandescent than childbirth, that would do it. I find it hard to believe the guy in the hospital bed can do ANY talking. He should be screaming his head off until his voice box gives out. That's won't stop his NEED to scream, it'll just mean he'll be less noisy about it. He'll just sound weird as he keeps doing it.
After about three or four hours, most patients find the pain to be negligible, if not nonexistent. It’s usually people who have an infection that still feel pain, or the catheter was inserted incorrectly, or the catheter is not inserted all the way. In the case of most men, the most common problem is that the catheter has not been fully inserted.
@@judahschultz Well, Having actually spent three days with one of those things inside me within the last year, I can safely say, without fear of contradiction, that the pain was NOT negligible. When that THING was removed, even though the pain was INCANDESCENT, it was short lived and I wanted to fecking MARRY the nurse that removed it...and the nurse and I were both men.
@@judahschultz And based upon the multiple complaints I made over the course of those three days, the nurses didn't seemed overly concerned about that, since they claimed that having a catheter "may cause some discomfort".
@@CMage101 I apologize for your horrific experience. It is truly regrettable that your nurses didn’t check or call for an x-ray to confirm placement. However, the vast majority of my patients don’t acknowledge any discomfort after a few hours after insertion.
This is someone completely different than the sunglasses-wearing Reacher who beats up hired killers in prison. This is a reacher in which all experiences, experiences and encounters with criminals of all kinds are manifested. He shortens the procedures and makes the decision himself whether and, if so, how to react. An incredibly intense and believable portrayal of the “other” Reacher. Included were the others who had the same experiences and experiences. Better stay out of your way.
I had just got done taking a pee and started having a seizure. Fell over into the bathtub and busted my head and face up...luckily my mom was home and found me and called 911. Pretty scary stuff don't remember any of it...I woke up strapped to the hospital bed with mittens on cause I kept pulling out the respirator, feeding tube and my ivs. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone I was just confused about where I was.
I didn't actually think Reacher would kill a defence less man in a hospital, no matter what he had done. "Dark Reacher" is really not someone you want to meet.

I’m amazed folk are shocked that Reacher kills a guy who was just about to shoot a kid in the face before they took him out.
Right? This was the same guy who was about to shoot a young girl before he got run over and survived.
the shocking is because of the manner in which Reacher kills him, not because of why Reacher kills him.
What make this moment so cool. Reacher delivered his lines so cold and heart felt at the same time. RIGHT ON!!
Alan's delivery is everything. The guy in the bed did a great job of selling it.
That has to be one of Reacher's coldest kills.
On screen
Neagley being entirely calm through it all too - or else switching the monitor leads trick wouldn't have worked as well..
This show has so many great one liners
Now that's what I call "taking the piss!" 🇬🇧🇬🇧😂

This made me hike and clamp my legs together cause holy fluffing crap This sounds painful as hell

Retribution. Pure & Simple.
Didn't think I'd be scared to use a catheter till now...

I can tell most of these reactors never read any of the Reacher books.

A Million Ways To Die By The Special Investigators
Getting the impression Syntell has had a catheter just by the way he’s reacting. Do not envy him one bit
Any dude who watched this scene clenched and held their bollocks because just the thought if this is something else all together.
Reacher never took the Hippocratic Oath I guess
His oath is a little different: "Those who do harm deserve twice the pain."
I didn't actually think Reacher would kill a defence less man in a hospital, no matter what he had done. "Dark Reacher" is really not someone you want to meet.
he has a moral code but he's not a paladin
Bad guys don't deserve to leave.🗿
In season one, Reacher said "Bad people deserve what they get, no apologies."
Reacher is not the guy you want to be on the business end of
Reacher was never taught about the Geneva Convention…or doesn't care.
Oh he does know about geneva and her convention. He just never gave a care😂😂.
its geneva suggestion to him LOL
The Geneva Convention apply only to uniformed military. You should read it sometime.
@@cameltanker1286 You never stop learning. I didn't know that. thx
This isn't Geneva, Colonel.
I'm still pissed about Russo.
That waa a tough one.
Peak acting
Ask any guy who has ever had a catheter inserted this scene is going to make you cringe guaranteed
any other guy cross their legs & cringe during this scene?
A lot of this did just the thought of someone doing that to you makes your heart race for all the wrong reasons. .... for real
Quid pro quo!
Sayanara sucker.
Why am I watching this 😢
