Great stuff Bill,i always forget that Malcolm had involvement with the Dolls, the book sounds interesting 👍 I always have a chuckle when i hear Donald Where's Your Trousers 😁 I love Cab doing Minnie the moocher in the Blues Brothers . All the best Bill 👍👍👍
@@nicksvinylbutty5488 Hi again Nick - Yes Malcolm played a part in lots of musicians careers. He also advised Adam Ant to adopt the 2 drummers sound. I must admit that Jools Holland beats Andy Stewart and the White Heather club for TV viewing on Hogmanay hands down. I hope Santa is good to you. Cheers Bill
Festive greetings Bill. Joe Boyd came to the Lancaster Litfest a few weeks back and I went along to hear his talk. He signed my copy of the book and also my old childhood copy of Relics so I was a man made up. Good to see Duck Rock which I managed to find a couple of years ago. Think Trevor Horn was involved with that? Have a great Crimbo and new year.
@@jamesgriffithsmusic Festive Greetings to you James. I am so jealous that you got Joe Boyd to sign your copy of the book. His other book White Bicycles is a good book and an easier read. Yes Trevor Horn was a producer on Duck Rock and has a writing credit too. Relics is a great compilation of early Pink Floyd - I think that I can quote the lyrics for Bike off the top of my head 😂. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2025 ! Cheers Bill
Hi - thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Record collecting is such a fun journey. I’m so glad that you enjoy finding out what I have bought. Enjoy your next cat show! - Cheers Bill
A very diverse mix of acquisitions Bill. Not sure I could stay the course for 800 pages on Malcolm Mclaren...You seem to have forgotten the section on divestments again...Have a nice Christmas, Dale
@@gatefold33 Hi Dale - Christmas greetings and Happy Hogmanay ! I was going to say that there will be some divestments in Q1 2025 BUT I thought that I shouldn’t make promises that I can’t keep 😂. Enjoy the festivities- with Best Wishes for 2025 - Bill

Love hearing about your acquisitions.
A cat show might be the only thing that would keep me from vinyl hunting.....
