You fixed the chair, restoration is something else 😊😊😊😂😂😂
Excellent restoration. I liked the idea of taking all the chair apart and giving it a great sanding. You did a thourough job. Well done and keep it up.
What a HACK. He does everything wrong. Steel hammer, wrong glue, hundreds of nails. Shoddy work. Since this was a piece of junk when it was new, I guess he could not make it any worse. Hate to see how he would destroy a fine piece of furniture.
Very nice and the finish looks great thanks for sharing 🍺🍺👍👍🇬🇧
Grain on the seat reminds me of ebony or tiger wood. Very cool!
You “nailed” it! Sorry, I couldn’t resist saying that.
Esse restauro está feito muito à pressa!
I don’t see anything wrong with this chair being fixed. We’re not talking priceless antique here. It came out very nice and is useful again.
Nice. I like this chair. Good job giving it life.
Good job
Me encantó,excelente trabajo!!
Oh it is so comfortable want this beauty at my house
Definitely not a professional. Rubbish job, too much glue and far too many nails. He doesn't even repair any of the damage. Such a shame to do that to what could have been a lovely looking piece of furniture.
You don't need to be a professional, just a little common sense. Very messy work, and the chair was beautiful.
Good for you, it's beautiful
The finish is still too glossy for my taste, but aside from that, you did a good job of restoring the piece as well as well as simulating a patina so that it doesn’t look new.
Huinya!
Looks great!
My big challenge would be how to clamp the curved armrests when gluing. Any suggestions?
destroyed!!!
👏👏👏👏
this is not restoration; you didn't fix any of the damaged wood and you used Brad nails?
I’d never get anything from this shop. Truely lazy work. Sloppy glue. Throwing out Pneumatic brads like free condoms at an orgy, and don’t even get me started on your sanding skills. Shameful work
Restore ettiğin sandelyenin eskide olsa hiç bir sanatsal formu yok, ikincisi sen restore etmiyorsun sadece zımpara ve yeniden boya ile toparlama yapıyorsun.halbuki senin ülkende müthiş sanatkar marangozlar var, sana bir kaç kere denk geldim, yanlış anlama benim ülkemde seni asistan bile yapmazlar.
I think this is beautiful 😊
You obviously haven’t seen a MASTER at work. This was shoddy!
What style of chair is this and from what country? I like what you did with it. Now it has another thirty years in it. 👍👍
Coming now on your channel. I love this restoration. 🇧🇷 From Brasil. 👏👏👏🤝
You did a beautiful job.
Looks great, isn’t your shop just cover in layer for overspray? Looks comfortable
Absolutely beautiful.
👍👏👏👏💐
👍
Not bad! Nice job 👍
Very primitive chair but you made it look good.Bravo
What does “restoration” mean? This looks nice, but repaired, not restored.
Good job! You saved it from a landfill. It looks 100% better then it did. Who cares how you got there, good job 👍
Pretty stingy with the glue. Not a single joint was properly glued.
It is a very little neat job, you neglected the original details, the primary sanding looks careless, with circular sandpaper on the arms, with a grinder... you installed nails and screws that did not correspond. The polishing of the wood looks superficial. A couple of coats of varnish is fine, but was it the right one? or at least a seal if the wood is old. That chair must feel very rough to the touch, it is a reassembly, never a restoration
He destroy the originality of this antique chair all those nails not necessarily, wood plugs will do so in the future if needs some repairs will be easy to disassemble. 😢😮
Horrible
