It's nice to hear a track that emphasizes a more 'civilized' range of timbres from Strega. More often than not, even in the promotional content from Make Noise, the emphasis is on the agressive, noisey and wild side of the circuitry. I don't imagine they are worried; it's probably selling like gang busters. But there may be a whole other segment out there that really needs to be charmed, seduced even, by Strega's smile rather than confronted with her grin.

Make Noise is the name of the brand and that sounds more like a statement than just a name. I think that every instrument can be used to highlight the ‘noisy’ character of expression and that even the noisiest instrument can be turned in a ‘singing’ voice. I like them both, but I like the second better :)

@@luca_longobardi_ It's probably my inexperience. I had a Strega ordered but bailed on it out of concern that I wouldn't be able to tame it. As I wait for a Tape & Microsound Music Machine, it's just a bit of frustration at the delay. But the T&MMM is likely a better fit given where I see my work headed at the moment.

The T&MMM is such a great system ♥️ In any case, I think an instrument must resonate with your creativity, with your instinct: if it doesn’t, that means is not the right one or the right moment for it :)

Very cool. Would you say the SQ64 is worth it for eurorack?

A super easy way to deal with 4 (independent) tracks with some good creative twists
