Great video man! Love the homie there chillin with you! Strega has been a big part of my setup since it came out. Awesome patient demo filled with great ideas.
Appreciate the kind words! I have a whole B-reel of her completely hogging the spotlight. I might post a super cut of me patching different gear under a giant furball.
Great video dude, I have had the Strega for sometime now and it still continues to surprise me, I can get lost for hours with it, very unique piece of gear
For some unknown reason, i always pick the black sheep. It seems, im not the only one. I find the strega community to be really kind and supporting of eachother. I think its because no one really knows what this thing is capable of. (Except Allissandro). I run mine with ocoast and ocontrol. They are all made for eachother. Great video. Cheers. 🎛🎚🙌
For me it was a clear choice because I have a limited amount of cash to spend on gear. As long as that is the case, I'm going to be choosing the gear that does things that I can't do in software.
great video man! I just got mine today along with a 0-cntrl to sequence it. Might’ve bit off too much to chew with the 0-cntrl 😅 I’m hoping make noise can create a semi modular Morphagene style thing someday.
Wow, impressive demo of the strega, thank you man. For the caaalm ambiance too. I would like to begin with modular synthesis, do you think the Strega is a nice choice for a first one ? I just tryied the o'coast but the "midi in", midi 1, midi 2 or both, and all the programs etc, just bored me in 1h, you know... Too much to learn just to start exploring, and having pleasure. Can the Strega make cool sounds without an external keyboard or anything else ? Or maybe just a microphone and some simple noises ? I'm really looking for a sound trip, a deep experience, where you don't need to be a genius to get pleasure... Your answer will be very important to me, I want to fall in love with my instrument this time, without too much headaches 😭 Thank you by advance, man. Hugs to mister cat, he's so peacefulll Have a nice day 🍀 Alex
I don’t know if I would define it as a sound mangling device, I use my IPad a lot as virtual eurorack. The program dedalus is an IOS Mangler and I stated using it with Strega and basically everything and anything! Great video, especially on a Strega! I just love it but man is it pricey! I think you’re on the right track though, I’ve commented on many Strega demos on TH-cam that I use it as a noise oscillator and it really works great in that purpose! I plan on connecting the Behringer Chaos and something with a midi gate and see what I find! I find it hard to believe there is zero MIDI, you might have the whole set to make that function work, I’ll bet I can work around that though! peace!
I have used the neutron a lot for just the patch bay. Honestly, I'm considering building a little skiff for just utilities that make everything else a little (or a lot) more useful.
Ce ne serait jamais un premier achat pour moi. Je pense que c'est trop cher, mais c'était génial pour un projet très spécifique sur lequel j'ai gagné de l'argent. Je ne l'achèterais pas autrement.
This is a party that never ends so you're never late. Welcome to the club!
Thank you!
You are making some amazing sounds with this thing in your setup!
The parts at 8:15 and 11:53 sound particularly spectacular.
Thanks so much! I've been having a blast with it.
This is very informative! I appreciate that you don’t edit out smaller details that would go over my head otherwise 😊
You're welcome my friend!

@@likestarsatdawn -brilliant. 👍
Thanks for this… I learned a few interesting things. I’ve been incredibly curious about this for a while. 👌🏼 Also… your cat looks SO adorable!
She's my studio cat. She increases audio fidelity when she lays on cables.
Really love how you broke down the different parts of the synth, very helpful :)
I've had my Strega 2 years and never really been able to get into it.

Thanks! O-CTRL looks like a wonderful instrument. When you make some cool music don't be afraid to send it to me to check out.

What type of zither is that?
That's a dulcimer. I've used it in a number of compositions and have no regrets picking it up!
A lovely video. Consider me subscribed!
Thank you!
how about the activation knob?
600 euros pour ça, pas convaincu.
