Yes!! I did all of my undergrad research on fishes of Chesapeake marshes and Chincoteague Island area. Dope to see one of my favorite YT channels showing off my old fishes!

My pleasure, sounds like that was an exciting ecosystem to study! I’m sure I coulda been more comprehensive 😅.

Thank you! Brackish fishing really does tend to throw some curve balls at you.

I love the saltwater video, saltwater micro fishing could be crazy sometimes. I caught my lifer Sheepshead minnow today after very slowly chasing them around. You are right how they loose their color, they look pink when in the water. Now I gotta find that rainwater or spotfin killi

Yeah they look so colorful from a distance but really start loosing the colors fast once out of the habitat. Good Luck with the other assorted brackish/saltwater micros!

Just found your channel. I like what you do - very informative. Hope more life-listers will discover your channel. I'd like to send you some micro-fishing hooks - a small gift for your 100th video. They have a special shape and I think they are smaller than the ones you are using and will be more effective for catching freshwater fish with smaller mouths. Contact me if you don't mind.

Thank you very much for the offer but I will pass at the moment. I do appreciate it and maybe in the future will set something up for things like this. Also, I am glad you enjoy the channel! Education and parting of information is a top priority, particularly in relation to fish identification and conservation.

@@IHUNTA From the other videos, I now see that you are also using tanago hooks. You already have the size I'm offering, which is similar to owner's half-moon but with a much longer point. Continue what you do - at some point, your channel will start growing rapidly. I have an informational project about fish species - maybe we will collaborate someday.
