I have short hands too.. Make sure to practice every day (on stretching a little).. Also make sure to pivot your hands when necessary, you don't have to keep your finger above a note you already played ;)

Yeah sure, if you want to do it, play each hand separately and then combine them, but play them very slowly. It is better to start of on easy songs though, maybe watch some of my EASY lessons. On difficult songs you will learn quicker if you just play together from the start. :) Anyway it will just take a lot of practice..
The section that begins at 13:43, the right hand part should be an octave higher and when u play the C Ab notes together(13:55), the Ab should be an octave higher too. Whatever, thanks for this it's amazing learned the whole song in 2-3 days, still have to practice for weeks to play it full speed though :D !!!

PSA: It’s an amazing tutorial that helped me so much. Grateful. HOWEVER, some of it is different than the original. I compared with HDPiano and 1 other tutorial in Spanish lol. I found out that HD Piano is the closest to the original imo. Marks is beautiful though and different only in some areas the rest is the same.
Hey, I think Yiruma made different versions also because this one was a 1:1 replica of the sheet music I had back then... however I do know different versions exist for Yiruma songs in general. glad to hear you liked it!

So... i only have a 22 or 24 key-ed keyboard :( We dont have any grand piano of some sort (im so poor x3 ) Im just new to these, so i get confused easily :||
Just to let you know but you played the left hand part at 5:37-5:42 wrong. You forgot to change it back to bass clef. No wonder it sounded terrible at that moment.

hey awesome tutorial just wanted to point that the part at 5:35 is not like the original i might be wrong but i heard the original quite a lot and i'm pretty sure the left hand is played differently
+PGN Piano I wrote 'might be wrong' cause you're more experienced than me and i wasnt 100% sure. But then I searched for yiruma playing 'maybe' and the camera was just in the right place at the right time and I could definitely see that he plays it differently. Dont get me wrong, I thank you for your tutorial, I dont know if you play it by ear or from which source, but yiruma plays the left hand differently.
Hey Fire Flies, the thing is, he improvises now and then, and there are 100's of videos of him playing songs up on youtube, so it's possible you've watched a different version. I've based this lesson on his original sheet music :P

I have compared sheet 2 against the notes. You teach that the Bb and Eb on the right hand should be played together with the Gb on the left hand. On the notes it states that the Bb and EB on the right hand should be played solo before the Gb on the left hand. The following Ab should be played together with the left hand Db as you mention though ;)

In the sheets (above the piano) it says you should not play them together the Gb is just a little after the Bb and the Eb.

Hi.. Love your tutorials, nice and clear and easy to follow. Only issue with this one is at 04:22 you play left hand higher than what you show in the tutorial after... Which is correct??
