      Yeah, same here
      It felt really good seeing Dwight get a chance from upper Sabre and then Jim saving him when everything goes up in flames

      One of best arcs post Michael Scott. But "Get That Girl" is the worst episode ever

    I think Robert wanted Dwight because he knew it would ultimately go nowhere. Dwight wanted a manger job, but Robert didn’t think he was fit. He set him up for failure to make it look like he at least tried. He was planning on shutting the project down from the start.

    Hey Chris! Been watching your content for a year or so and I wanted to express my joy in watching your videos. Love hearing your perspective on one of my favorite shows. In my opinion you should score these episodes on a 6 point scale hahaha (6-outstanding, 5-Fantastic, 4-Great, 3-Good/Solid, 2-okay/fine, 1-Bad/terrible) to avoid, for instance, a 'low 4'.

    Thia whole channel is a look for patterns. Many times patterns that even the creators never thought about especially in the deeper meaning. Haha
    I love this channel.

  • @jerkytoo8184

    I think the biggest issue I have with this episode and with the Tallahassee story arc is that I just don't buy its premise. Sabre has a whole headquarters with presumably employees that are at least as competent as its employees from its paper company subsidiary. But instead of using its HQ employees for the special project, they bring the subsidiary employees from Scranton?

    I think i remember there was a reason it changed from lingerie to gloves. I remembered them having some kind of specialty trivia thing on TBS when they used to show marathons on there.
    Cuz yeah i remember it being hilarious that he was still so hapoy about the lingerie 😂😂😂

    It's possible you were thinking of Elf, where fish out of water Buddy gives his dad Christmas lingerie because it was advertised as "for someone special"

    The Tallahassee arc started like a solid breath of fresh air but culminated in the worst couple of episodes in the series with the Andy/Erin arc. However even in the worst episode ever, Get the Girl, there is the best Robert california quote. “Would you like the nature metaphor or the sexual metaphor…”

  • @martino5742
    @martino5742 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Nah lingerie would be WAY over the top for a coworker that one hasnt already had any kind of sexual contact with, even if there is clear romantic tension, and even for a sitcom. That would be a straight up creep move. And how is he supposed to pivot that to Nate? Thats why the Mandela Effect idea doesnt work for me. Lingerie would be just a ludicrous leap of faith, point of no return gift. Theres no bailing out and giving that to Nate, unless youre willing to have both him and Val have some radically new ideas about you lol
    Edit: at BEST, Darryl has hit an infield fly with Val up to this point. Giving her lingerie would be michael scott levels of outrageously inappropriate and presumptuous.

    I hate any scenes that bring up having children as difficult. You talk about the human experience a lot, and as a guy in his 30s that is surrounded by nothing but talking about kids, it’s oftentimes a choice to have children. And in my own “human experience” it’s exhausting to hear about it. Cece is the worst thing to happen to this show.
