Abandoned Health Spa & Mysterious Village???

Today we visited Zzyzx Rd (Z-I-ZICK), and told the story of Dr. Curtis H Springer who believe that mineral water coming from the springs had healing power. Many of the workers that came to work at Zzyzx Rd were just released from Los Angeles County Jail...he promised them food & Shelter to help build the mineral spring resort.
He got the mining lease from the US Government in 1944, and developed the land for 30 years before they evicted him for selling plots of land...in hopes of creating a resort town.
