I wonder what the producers were thinking when they distributed the lines? The discrepancy is so big. 33 seconds compared to 5seconds? Both are main vocals by the way. Ya’ll here in the comment section are dumb. Ya’ll saying she should expect to get few lines, well hello UNIS is not the first group who have foreigners. We, Elisia’s fans, don’t expect she’ll get the best treatment but what we’re pointing out here is this Twice cover like how does she get seconds like almost to zero lines. I mean she get pretty decent lines in their album songs but this Twice cover? What a joke. We get it she is in Korea she won’t be promoted like a korean but they decided to go beyond being too unfair like they all too young to be treated like that, the thing is they can manipulate them especially they are too young and new to this industry to speak for themselves. I’m pretty sure Elisia is super happy and living the moment being a kpop idol even she gets the line of an average as you can see she enjoys every performance with grace and she’s always been grateful with every opportunity she gets to experience. Added to that, other kpop groups who have foreigners get to be treated fairly like they’re so afraid of her advantage that she got that “It Factor” that’s why they try to give her average lines so she wouldn’t shine too much which is a shame but girly still shines because she is Elisia! We all can’t deny she has the Disney voice, the kpop world is huge stepping stone for her. Wishing her luck in her dreams and I hope life will bring her where she can shine the brightest.

Me too. I feel like they just used them so the show can get alot of views. They also used Elisa created drama because they know Eli has a big fan base.
For marketing purposes. They know how many Filipinos are attracted to KPOP, how much more if there are Filipinos in the group. Now, they got their goal: more PH fans attention and support. They function as a group so even if people have their own biases, just supporting that bias supports the group as a whole regardless of an uneven line distribution.
They recognized Eli's talent hence her being the first member of the group and that hit the news. That got more of the Filipinos attention. She got the top spot yet she doesn't even get many lines when they debuted. Doesn't make sense other than the obvious reasons 🤷🏻♀
Filipinos are not hypocrites. Some of us support this group because they're our own 'kababayan.' Filipinos prioritize equality, respect cultural differences, and fair treatment. It's disheartening to witness unfair practices in the K-pop industry, especially when this group, so beloved in the Philippines, is involved. @@koru8495 yeah like theyre still gonna release music in the future. it wasnt as if this song was their own original song or anything so i dont see why it is such a huge deal if the members themselves are fine with it. we dont even know what is going on behind the scenes. gehlee is getting used to dancing so maybe she finds it hard to keep up with more lines (+ she is not fluent in korean yet) meanwhile i think that theyre also busy with other activities bc theyre filming running man phillipines so they could have refused extra lines based on the fact that theyre simply too busy to practice too much

Could've been a perfect performance
As much as I want to watch this performance, I choose not to because it hurts my heart seeing the two being neglected. Especially Elisia, they could've given justice to her position as main vocalist. While Nana, the main dancer always gets more lines and Seowon get the most lines always when the line duration can be equally divided between the two main vocalists. Not hating on Nana and Seowon tho, I hate the management for mistreating Gehlee and Elisia. I just feel bad for the two.

I'm so sad about the distribution... I felt that too... I really like them a lot, but the line distribution is really bad... I like Kotoko a lot, so I was very sad that in the presentation of "butterfly dream" they took lines from her. Honestly, I think Kotoko is just as underrated as the Filipino members and Yoona (who is Korean) at times. I mean, she doesn't even get rap lines, that doesn't make sense. I was really looking forward to this performance, because the girls who didn't sing as much in the other songs had more lines, but I was a little disappointed. But what worries me the most are the Filipino girls, Kotoko still manages to receive good lines and Yoona too, but Elisia and Gehlee have almost nothing... I was very upset that in "Dopamine" Gehlee has only one line! And this presentation was all more evident, a great neglect in the distribution, Elisia, Gehlee, Yoona and Kotoko who had almost no important lines, this makes me so bad. I almost thought Yoona wouldn't sing either, but I was relieved when the rap part came and they gave her these lines. Still, I think they should decide whether to put Nana on the rap or vocals, so they can't, because they might as well give the rap part to Gehlee, or split it between Gehlee and Kotoko. I think some other parts were also badly distributed, like Seowon's final part, she sang pretty much the entire final part, they should have given some to Elisia. The language barrier is simply an excuse, because they all sing in Korean. It just doesn't make sense. Yoona is Korean and yet sometimes she doesn't have as many lines, the same for Kotoko who doesn't even sing the rap parts these days. Elisia has a very good Korean, at Nana's level, but she doesn't get lines. Gehlee I understand wants to stay in the dance, but they should give her lines.

This is clearly unfair to think that Twice has 9 members, yet the girls doing the cover was just 8. Our feelings are valid too! We support UNIS since the beginning of their survival program and we should not turn a blind eye on this.

Actually we don't know the exact reason, but it's an obvious unfair line distribution, in my pov, maybe racism is the root of this, it's not the f&f, they are only about business, but most Korean viewers tend to dislike Filos, so f&f needed to hide f-line in the spotlight in Korea and show off the k and j-line in order to UNIS gain likes and popularity there as a group, but it's miscalculated strategy towards Filos reaction

Remember this is just one song that does not have fair line distribution. There are several songs in their album where Elisia gets the most lines while Seowon gets less. Theres no racism or favoristism whatsoever and we dont exactly know whats happening behind the scenes. 😂

And Gehlee? I get the point that she’s still learning korean. And exactly, SHE’S LEARNING. Not being a fluent in Korean doesn’t mean she shouldn’t sing, she’s learning and she can even make a sentence already in Korean. There is also english in the lyrics that they can sing, even they can’t give those lines to these two lol. Like I don’t get these people at all, they shouldn’t debut if the standards of getting a line is by speaking fluently in Korean. People, Eli can make a sentence and speak faster in Korean, Gehlee is learning and already can make sentences, they’re learning.
