Singing is not just about having a beautiful voice or hitting high notes it is also about being able to convey the emotion/story of the song and I think Elisia did both perfectly in this song!

Although Seowon won the Unicorn Ticket, but imo Elisia gave more soul to this performance. Her adlibs, she knows how to add more emotion in her voice, compliment others' voices, her expression, they all that gave me goosebumps. Maybe because she has done some musical, so she also knows how to act instead just singing with good technique.
It’s the producers/composers who distributed the lines based on first run of the songs. They will let them sing then distribute the lines. Of course those with strong vocals will have more lines but it even with less lines you can still capture audiences with your dance and facial expressions on that song.
Yeah true afterall this is a vocal position.. they should make each trainee shine and let them showcase their true vocal skills..the producers are pushing their bets. I was really disappointed coz for me the arrangement doesn't fit a battle.
The best distribution was probably the performance team, like... I know it should sound good and all but visual and vocal team really pissed me off so much I had to stop watching (didn't finish the performance team's preparation, only watched the clip on yt). I know it's competitive and all but how will they showcase their visual/vocals when they barely have lines/barely show their face on cam. Although I do understand that there're contestants that are better in some parts, they still should have given more (not exactly equal, but rather fair distribution). Well, I'm not a producer nor a performer to judge but I've watched every episode and I can see that there's bias in the show. I'm talking about Nana and Seowon, and also Elisia probably, especially with their screentime. Other girls barely get screentime-Of course only a bunch of people who knew them before would vote for them! Right now I'm only rooting for Bang Yunha, but my dream team consists of Elisia, Seowon, Bae Haram, Sumin, Hyeonju, and Kotoko. But honestly I only like Kotoko for her stage presence. She'll bring a lot of fans/non-universe ticker watchers to the group in no time. Although I doubt Nana won't debut. She's already in R level so it'd be confusing if she won't debut lol.

FORREAL! They keep on hating on Seowon for apparently ''Stealing'' Elisia's line when she clearly isn't in the right condition to do so. If they let others have Yunha's line cause it fits others voices too this would have been an equal performance between vocalists. Especially elisia's voice suits yunha's parts!

As much as I wanted this to happen as well but it would be unfair for the other members. Since this is survival group, other members should also be given their own limelight.
her lines were perfect considering she was not 100% healthy yet. it seems fewer but the other 2 just had 3x more lines. If it was distributed equally,equally to all of them, i think her lines are already enough or may just 1-2 extra solo line but not more. 😊

This video is the best example of what I mean when I say Elisia’s voice has dynamics. IMO, Elisia saved Seowon on the high notes. Seowon has the tendency to “shout” instead of “belt”. When Seowon does high notes, notice how it’s not pleasing to the ears? Because she’s shouting. Her voice isn’t modulated (maybe because she’s still too young/needs more training - idk), but Elisia (having proper vocal training) knows how to modulate her voice. Seowon's talking voice is her singing voice. Elisia has a different voice when sings. Also, yes I'm comparing, but I'm not bringing down Seowon - rather pointing out what I've noticed.

This performance will always be my favorite ever. Even after UNIS debut, I still go back to this. I have an emotional attachment to this performance. I hope UNIS will perform this someday.
This is what they mean no matter how small lines/parts you have, you have to do something to make yourself shine with those little parts. And Elisia did it! I felt like she shine in every performance even with a little parts/lines
Seowon is technically the best vocalist out here but the emotion which the song requires was not met. Her voice is also too loud for a mellow song (in my opinion). Yunha, Elisia, and Hyeonju did the best interpretation. Other members could've done good too if they were just given enough lines to show what they can.
I dunno, from listening in the vocal studio, the trainers say Elysia was the above everyone. Despite Saewon being the tops, she is the only that intimidates her by her vocal prowess.
@@athenacinca8657 It is mainly because Elisia's singing style was really able to deliver the song's message. She sings it softly, but still with grace. She is storytelling while hitting those notes perfectly. This is different than just merely hitting the notes.
Seowon,Elsia and Sunwoo did so well , when Seowon and Elsia did the high note so well . Gehlee also did so well her vocals were fantastic . They all did Amazing .
It’s such a shame that Eli’s sickness got in the way of her recording she definitely would have gotten more lines and stood out more but she still managed to do amazing in the final performance 🫶

her lines were perfect considering she was not 100% healthy yet. it seems fewer but the other 2 just had 3x more lines. If it was distributed equally,equally to all of them, i think her lines are already enough or may just 1-2 extra solo line but not more. 😊

This video is the best example of what I mean when I say Elisia’s voice has dynamics. IMO, Elisia saved Seowon on the high notes.
Seowon has the tendency to “shout” instead of “belt”. When Seowon does high notes, notice how it’s not pleasing to the ears? Because she’s shouting. Her voice isn’t modulated (maybe because she’s still too young/needs more training - idk), but Elisia (having proper vocal training) knows how to modulate her voice. Seowon's talking voice is her singing voice. Elisia has a different voice when sings.
Also, yes I'm comparing, but I'm not bringing down Seowon - rather pointing out what I've noticed.
So that's why I felt weird whenever Seowon "belts".
let's keep in mind that Seowon is a trot singer so her voice navigates towards being full on belting which sometimes masked as "shouting"

Either way, she's still not pulling her voice from her diaphragm, but mostly from her throat, which is why her voice sounds crackly when she does high notes. Not pitchy, but "crackly".

Seowon is technically the best vocalist out here but the emotion which the song requires was not met. Her voice is also too loud for a mellow song (in my opinion). Yunha, Elisia, and Hyeonju did the best interpretation. Other members could've done good too if they were just given enough lines to show what they can.

I dunno, from listening in the vocal studio, the trainers say Elysia was the above everyone. Despite Saewon being the tops, she is the only that intimidates her by her vocal prowess.
@@athenacinca8657 It is mainly because Elisia's singing style was really able to deliver the song's message. She sings it softly, but still with grace. She is storytelling while hitting those notes perfectly. This is different than just merely hitting the notes.

It’s such a shame that Eli’s sickness got in the way of her recording she definitely would have gotten more lines and stood out more but she still managed to do amazing in the final performance 🫶
