lynoj777 that is the tempering process. After the blade is hardened it is very brittle. Keeping it at 400 F for around 2 hours softens the blade enough that it keeps its toughness.
Awesome! I know about the the hardening process but not with the tampering process. Thanks for the quick response and thanks for making these videos. 👍
I grew up with a balisong most of the time with me in the Philippines from childhood to adulthood and balisongs over there are mostly home and handmade that’s why I can really relate to what you’re doing.
I no longer have the template for this but if you want me to replace it for you I do 3D design and 3D printing commissions on my Instagram @zombiejoe3d
You are very skilled and that was really cool. But can I ask why you choose that blade style for a balisong?
No particular reason, just wanted to change it up a bit from my last Balisong build. Plus it’s an easy bevel to grind.
@@zombiejoe13 I hear you dude. Still. Very nice job 🤘
Thank god you included that closeup of Apollo
Superb project & videos (v1&2) Nicely done!
Love to get my hands on that lil' drawing/template so i can make one
They're pretty easy to design but theres rules to consider
This was my first diy on balisong. I will see if my file skills can produce something nice. Does anyone know a free CAD ?
Dude I love the skateboard truck sander that's a dope life hack
Wow, I wish I could make one this well! hopefull once I improve I can... Nice work.
what kind of glue did you use thruout the video or is it even a glue(what i am reffering to is that toothpick top left at 5:41)?
its gorilla 2 part epoxy.
@@zombiejoe13 Thank you, I will look into your chanell more ;)
edit: looked at it, nice chanell, lots of aducating content, instant subscribe
Ditch the hoodie in the shop. Just takes one wrong move for a tool to grab a string or long sleeve and you end up with a very bad day.
I removed the strings from this hoodie and I’m not super worried about the long sleeves.
Slightly better than the other one i saw
Awesome video. I’m wondering what is the oven process for. Thanks

a 00 cut chequering file
@@zombiejoe13 I've never heard of that kinda file where did you get it?
I got super lucky and found it at a flea market for $1 usually they are pretty expensive to buy new
I'll keep an eye out for one! It's an awesome tool to have!
Can I get the template please
I no longer have the template for this but if you want me to replace it for you I do 3D design and 3D printing commissions on my Instagram @zombiejoe3d

Why did you include horns?
I did an alternate cad design without horns and it looked weird so I chose to keep the horns

Great i'll buy a 1000 dollar machine to make butterfly knife
I didn’t buy the mill, i used the machine shop at my college.
Bring it to school
I don’t wanna risk it getting confiscated. I’d rather just bring a cheap one and avoid the risk.
Lol from scratch yet you use a blueprint cut out 🤔🤔
Yea, I designed the template myself. I didn’t use someone else’s
A blueprint he created from scratch ass hat
