And that means that certain public figures have become memetic celebrities, with cults of personality formed around them.
But one person has managed to become a celebrity without losing their anonymity. One person has spent years in the shadows, but is still revered as a god: IceFrog.

Shafwan Dito it’s a non-disclosure agreement. If they reveal his identity after they sign that then hefty fees and even legal action can be taken. + in the gaming industry if you cross a big company like Valve they could probably blacklist you and destroy your career.

A friend of mine went to Seattle this year and claims he thinks he saw someone that “could be”IceFrog. It probably almost certainly wasn’t him. This is why we loved the game tho. Those changes. Its like were playing the heroes that ice frog wants us to play. And when he got bored he nerf the shit out of those heroes then buffed others. It is so sad that the game was so complex right now that kids turn to other mobas since it is a lot easier to master. Also the toxicity.

There are many fools who do not know him as Father Sakurai. But he is Father Sakurai.
He took so many dumps on competitive smash. He added more and more RNG mechanics in hope to make the game less competitive, he refuses to support ANY tournament and there were even community events that Sakurai went out of his way to try and cancel them.
